Dumb Teammate AI in My Player Mode

Wow, the teammate AI is so annoying in My Player mode. It seems that unless I'm involved in the offence, either by scoring, dishing the assist (though I only get them when there is no excuse for the AI to miss (open shot under the basket)), or calling an appropriate play, we rarely score. I've recently been traded to the Lakers, so you'd think my teammates would be productive, but no: Ron Artest never makes an open jumpshot (he shoots about four 3 pointers a game, and he still hasn't made a single one in 4 games (though I guess these days that isn't too unrealistic, haha)), and you'd never think Gasol was meant to be a superstar in 2K11 - his and Bynum's offense is atrocious; their shots are always blocked or they just miss - they cannot play in the post. Oh, and to top it all off, Bynum took a 3 in my last game, and there was plenty of time left on the clock.

Is this mode annoying anybody else?

Check your Team Chemistry. Team Chemistry helps a lot, that's what I noticed in My Player Mode. My 1st game in my Team(Bulls), I noticed that the team is not Organize & Our Team Chemistry is below 50% I dunno why. But after 1 season My Player got better(Improves the Overall Rating) and I stay with the Bulls. I didn't leave them. My Rookie Season in the Chicago Bulls is really annoying 'coz it fells like I'm the Star Player even though I'm only a Rookie w/ low Rating, D-Rose, J-Noah, C-Boozer sucks monkey balls. But now that our Team Chemistry is over 85% or sometimes 95%(it depends in the Trade that the Management is doing/making, you can't control it), Every night Me and the Bulls Trio are BEAST! D-Rose Averaging doubele2x(Pts & Assist), Boozer is a Beast in the Low Post(easy 2 points if you find him in correct place, even Jump shot) & When my J-Noah is inside the court, you don't have to worry for the Rebound and Also Top 5 in Blocks in our current Season. Our Team(BULLS) is currently 1st place in the NBA Rankings(2nd Season: My Player Mode)

Ahhh. Thanks for this. Yeah, currently I'm having to do all the work - averaging ~30 points per game along with 5-10 assists as a PG, with an overall rating of only 54. Our Team Chemistry is at 54%, so hopefully this goes up and we'll play better as a team. Looks like I will stick with this mode for a while.

Edit: Urgh. Just played a full My Player game, got a lot of points, then the game shut down when I selected "quit" (as in quit the end of the game to go back to the menus). I'm angry once again.

im actually having a hard time dealing with the team chemistry,we're down to 12 effin percent,lots of trades went down that's the reason why chemistry went down but still im hoping to get it back up to 50+

Yup! You cannot control the Trading System, I'm a SG in Bulls but I am force to play a PG occasionally because DRose is the only legitimate PG in our Current Roster. The Management decided to Trade our Back-up PG for a PF, Right now our Team is composed pf 2C, 3PF, 4SF, 2SG, & 1PG.

To avoid the the "Quit Problem" every time you launch the game, make sure to Delete 1st the User Profile in Option(Main Menu) before you start playing the My Player this is My Routine & I can play 5 games in a row without the "Quit Problem". I'm also frustrated when I encounter that kind of Bug, I almost quit on playing My Player Mode. but everything is Fine now! And Turn Off the "Auto Save" And 1 more thing before I Hit the "Quit", I always check the Game Stats & Injuries to avoid the "Loading Traffic" maybe a Placebo effect in me but it's working(I just want to share it ) just to refresh the Loading Time. 'coz One more thing that I noticed in playing NBA2k11 since October, My Game always crashed while loading in a Game or Loading when I want to view my Save Replay(I have lots of Save Replays)

Thanks for the tip. But if you delete your user profile, won't you lost all your Jordan Shoes?

Make a backup first before you delete it. I completed all the Jordan Shoes and I made a backup in my HD. I'm not really using it 'coz I always play My Player Mode(Jordan will give you your Own Shoe)

I now got a cooperating teammate in "My Player" Its true you need to have a high team chemistry mine was 71%. Thanks For The Tip.
But, Man how to fix quit problem in "My Player"? Please Help.

now i have a problem during all-star weekend,whenever i choose to "sim until subbed" it automatically crashes

Peoples!!! Is there a way to fix a playbook in my player, Because my first team was in Rockets, And Got traded to Heat After A Six Games, The playbook was the same in Houston Rockets Playbook. You Know It sucks Wade Can't Score And Bosh. Please Help...
