Andre Miller overrated?

What do you think of him? Underrated or overrated?

I watched the Blazers/Nuggets game last saturday and didn't like what I saw.

hmm if anything i'd say he's underrated... he has one of the best mid-range jumpshots and passes the ball well... well at least he did during all the Rockets game i've seen him in... :P

His assists have never gone back to the level they were in Cleveland, but I think he's underatted, he's one of the best defenders in the league, and even though he doesn't have the outside shot, he's unstoppable when in the lane. You might think its just easy to say okay then play him for the drive, but it doesn't work, he can get in the lane at will.

He's not the fastest PG, but he's got good lateral quickness and can change speed and direction very well.

if he had an outside shot he'd be so much more dangerous....i think if he works on that part of the game he'll get more respect

He's very underrated, along with Nene, Camby and Voshon Lenard, Carmelo is just taking all their credit.

Last year I might have said he was overrated, as he struggled with the Clippers after an impressive campaign with the Cavaliers in the 2001/2002 season. But I was impressed with what I saw when watching him in the Nuggets/Sonics game the other week (the game in which Melo scored 41), a game in which he fell short of a triple double by a rebound or two.

I wouldn't say he's grossly underrated, but he's more underrated than he is overrated in my opinion.

i think in order for someone to be overrated, a bunch of people have to overrate him first (if that makes any sense)

i think miller's ok

he's underrated ... mainly because he doesnt average too many points.
however, unlike 95% of the league, he fills up the stat sheet with numbers.
he's an all around player and he should be respected.
however, these days, players are rated based on how much they score.
