THE FACTS: The Clippers looked comfortable on offense early on, possibly still up from the Celtics game, but despite a 5-game skid, the Wizards were matching each shot. It was not until midway through the 1Q when Blake was called for his 2nd foul that the Wizards would put on a run as the Clippers went cold. The lead would grow to as big as 12 points. In the 2Q the Clippers game back, lead by the defense of Wilson Chandler, who recorded a career high 6 blocks and hit 3 3-pointers in the 2Q to help give the Clippers a 1 point lead going into the half. The second half tight, but the Clippers appeared to be in control, until the Wizards lead a charge to take a 4 point lead late in the game.Final Moments: 2 minutes remaining 101-99
With the Clippers down 2, they needed a stop. John Wall went for a dunk but Blake Griffin was there for the block. Blake kept control of the ball, went coast-to-coast and tied the game on a slam dunk.
Allen Iverson would step up and answer with a bucket of his own, then a missed Clipper FG and Iverson scored again to put the Wizards up by 4.
A few missed possessions go by and the Clippers are forced to foul to stop the clock. Iverson hits 2 more free throws, 6 point lead.
Blake is hammered in his layup, but no whistle. Blake fouls Iverson and fouls out. Iverson hits 2 more free throws, 8 point lead.
Gordon misses his 3 point attempt, but Ben Wallace is there for the rebound and is fouled. Hits 1 of 2 free throws.
Wizards dribble out the clock and escape with a 7 point lead.
THE STAT: With the game tied with less than 2 mins to go, the Wizards out scored the Clippers 8-1
QUOTABLE: Allen Iverson on closing the game, "It's what I do. It's why I'm here."
HOT: Wilson Chandler 3 3-Pointers during the Clippers comeback in the 2Q, but his defense was hot the whole game, including a career high 6 blocks
NOT: Eric Gordon continued his shooting struggles hitting only 7 for 20 shots
GOOD MOVE: John Wall went baseline for a slam dunk and then on the very next play Blake Griffin went straight down the lane for a slam of his own
BAD MOVE: (for John Wall) John Wall got an outlet pass for a fast break and went for a monster slam, but was swatted by Wilson Chandler

TORONTO RAPTORS
10-25
Streak: 2Lvs. LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
21-12
Streak: 1WAir Canada Centre - Toronto, ON Feb. 13, 2011 - 6:00 PM (PST) Matchups Jose Calderon PG Baron Davis DeMar DeRozan SG Eric Gordon Julian Wright SF Wilson Chandler Amir Johnson PF Blake Griffin Andrea Bargniani C DeAndre Jordan headline
THE FACTS: The game was close in the first half as both teams traded leads, but neither fell behind by more than 6 points. Bargnani was on the floor most of the time the Raptors were ahead and when he was in foul trouble, it was the Clippers who were ahead. Coming out of the locker room, the Clippers appeared to have turned it on the 3Q extending the lead to as much as 10 points and practically taking control of the game. But DeMar DeRozan just kept scoring and did his best to keep the Raptors close, he would finish with a game high 38 points. The Clippers would lead going into the 4Q and that is when Blake Griffin took over. Not by his scoring alone, but his all around game. Blake was dunking, stealing, rebounding, making plays, and he even hit a 3 pointer. Blake Griffin lead his team to victory behind his 2nd Career Triple Double (27 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists).
THE STAT: With the Raptors main guys (Bargnani and Calderon) in foul trouble and shooting poorly, LA native DeMar DeRozan erupted for 38 points, but it was not enough to hold of the Clippers who had 6 players score in double figures
QUOTABLE: Blake Griffin, "I just have to go out there and play hard. I don't even think of my stats, I just do what I have to to win."
HOT: Blake Griffin had his 2nd Career Triple-Double with 27 points, 15 Rebounds, 10 Assists
NOT: Andrea Bargnani and Jose Calderon were both in foul trouble (5 fouls each) and shot poorly for a combined 8 for 28 scoring only a combined 23 points
GOOD MOVE: Blake Griffin's jumpshot was long, but Ben Wallace was there for a massive 1-handed put back slam
BAD MOVE: After DeAndre Jordan blocked Leandro Barbosa's layup attempt, the Clippers assumed they would get the ball, instead Barbosa picked it up and dished it to an open Jermaine O'Neal for the easy dunk
Injuries: N/A

BLAKE GRIFFIN IS THE HARDEST WORKING MAN IN THE NBA
After recording his second career triple-double in a win against the Raptors in Toronto, superstar Blake Griffin spent valentines day with the team at the sunny beaches of Florida. Blake better of enjoyed the day off as much as he could as he is about to go to work.
Once Blake Griffin steps on the floor tonight against the Orlando Magic, he will start the hardest working weekend of his young career. Blake Griffin will be the first NBA player, and possible only the athlete, to compete in 5 major sports venues in 5 straight days!
Blake Griffin and the Clippers will face off against Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic tonight, and then immediately after the team will take a quick flight to South Beach where they will face LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and the rest of the Miami Heat tomorrow night, and then he will fly back to Los Angeles to compete with his fellow rookies (including the Clippers own Eric Bledsoe and Al-Farouq Aminu) in the Rookie Challenge, and then the next night he will participate in the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, and finally to cap it off he will start along side Kobe Bryant in the 60th NBA All-Star Game.
Whew....What a week for the rookie!

THE FACTS: Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin entered this game looking to dominate as they combined for 28 points in the 1Q, but it did come as a cost as no other Clipper scored until Eric Bledsoe hit a 3 pointer with less that 2 minutes left in the quarter. Without other production from the Clippers the Magic were able to keep the game close. The lead for either team grew only as high as 7 points, until late in the game. Late in the 3Q Eric Gordon drew 4th foul on Dwight Howard which had Stan Van Gundy put him on the bench. Suddenly Gilbert Arenas woke up and made 2 consecutive 3 pointers to give the Magic a 6 point lead. By the 4Q all of the Magic players were scoring as 7 different Magic players ended with double digits in scoring and an 8th with 9 points. The Magic grew the lead to 11 points before VDN called a timeout. With only 4 minutes remaining and the Clippers now down by 20, VDN was forced to rest Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin who have not had a break the entire 2nd Half. VDN decided to save their energy since they have another big game tomorrow night against the East's top Miami Heat.
THE STAT: In the final 4 minutes with Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin resting on the bench, the Clippers scored only 2 points. The Magic out scored the Clippers in the 4Q 41-18 and won the game by 29 points
QUOTABLE: Eric Gordon, "You just want to be out there and play especially on a night when things are going good for you. You just wish things were going good for your teammates too..."
HOT: Dwight Howard, season high 29 points on 12-13 shooting
NOT: Any Clipper not named Eric Gordon or Blake Griffin:
Eric Gordon+Blake Griffin: 70 points 26-39 (66%)
Rest of the team: 34 points 12-41 (29%)
GOOD MOVE: Pick and Roll Eric Gordon-Blake Griffin, Blake finishes with a Windmill Jam over Howard
BAD MOVE: (for Wilson Chandler) In the 1Q, Chandler looked like he had a clear dunk but Dwight Howard came flying in from the weak side to swat the weak shot out of the way
Injuries: N/A

THE FACTS: After an embarrassing night against the Magic, the Clippers were looking to bounce back before the young Clippers core went off to the All-Star events this weekend. Blake Griffin started the game with a 3 pointer over Chris Bosh and they seemed to take control. The Clippers jumped out to an early 22 point lead by the 2Q. Their offense was much better with 3 players scoring over 20 points (Jordan 26-Career High, Griffin 26, Gordon 23), but it was defense and rebounding that won the Clippers the game. Dwyane Wade did his best finishing with 40 points since LeBron had been struggling (shot 6-17 scoring only 23 points) to bring the Heat back. The Heat would come back and take the lead for the first time late in the 4Q, but once again solid defense allowed the Clippers to escape South Beach with a 2 point win. Before Blake Griffin fouled out, he essentially sealed the game on a windmill jam over Mario Chalmers, after this it was Eric Gordon finishing it at the free throw line.
THE STAT: The Clippers and Heat are first and second in the league in assists, in this game the Clippers had 40 compared to the Heat 29
QUOTABLE: Blake Griffin, "You just have to keep playing. I have a great opportunity. I played against Dwight for the first time, then LeBron again, tomorrow will start my first, but not last All-Star weekend"
HOT: DeAndre Jordan scored a career high 26 points and missed only 2 field goals, he also went 4 for 6 from the free throw line
NOT: LeBron James 1st Half, great Clippers defense limited him to only 7 points shooting 1-6 (his points came from a 3 pointer and the rest free throws)
GOOD MOVE: Nick Young tipped the ball away in the final seconds and was able to get it down the court an alley-oop it to DeAndre Jordan with 0.8 seconds remaining. This lead to Jordan finishing the game with a career high 26 points
BAD MOVE: LeBron James thought he had a clear layup, but missed it completely
