Bobcats stun Heat 76-60 in 2nd Matchup

The game started out badly for the Heat and despite a 2.5 quarter run by they never could hold onto a lead. The Heat were down early until the end of the first. They did not take a lead until the beginning of the second quarter! The teams kept trading baskets until the 4th quarter when the Cats went on a 21-10 run.

In the postgame news conference Eric Spoelstra said his team told him they vowed to never shave nor trim their beards until they beat those Bobcats! Manfred Nissley replied that he knew some Mennonite fellows who could teach the Heat how to keep their beards clean!

Other notable occurrences in the game included every Bobcat scoring! The player of the game was Rudy Gay with 15 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. Miami's big three scored 44 points!

Rudy Gay adopted by Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians

Today, Rudy Gay was given honorary Cherokee Citizenship for his political work encouraging political leaders to consider giving Native Americans their own representatives in federal and state government. Gay has been pounding on the doors of federal and state Senator's concerning a proposal to change the constitution.

Ray was invited to a meeting set up by Michael Hicks the Principle Chief of of the Eastern Band of Cherokee in North Carolina. After much deliberation the tribal court and council granted the Chief's proposal of extending honorary citizenship to Rudy Gay.

The council also took note of Rudy Gay's english name and it's meaning. The council decided to give him a Cherokee name with the same definition as his english name. They gave him the name of Equa-Waya Atiheliga. Equa (Ay-kwa) means Great, Waya (Wah-yaw) means Wolf, and Atiheliga (Ah-lee-hay-lee-gah) means happy.

It has also been rumored that Rudy Gay is pondering an official name change to his Cherokee name.

Hey folks I am halfway through the 1st season already. I have been download graphics mods the past two days and will see a notable difference on the pictures. I have also installed another program to grab screens. As a result I will most likely start posting box scores and might even do some other changes.
I am also going to change the sliders to give lower scoring games as I have about 500 more points on the season the next team in line. When you consider I play 5 minute quarters that produces an imbalance on the stats sheet. I believe I will lower the scoring abilities for both myself and the CPU.

I welcome any input you may have to how I can make this association appeal to you.

The NBA is reporting that the Wolves have traded Kevin Love + Corey Brewer to Memphis for O.J. Mayo+ Hamed Haddadi! This is a stupid move by Minnesota and a awesome coup by the Memphis Grizzlies! In a sepparate deal the Wolves traded Wayne Ellington and Anthony Tolliver to Indiana for Jeff Foster!

We asked what Manfred Nissley the GM of the Charlotte Bobcats what he thought about the deals.

While I know I am known as MR. Trade Him, I would never have done this deal as a Timberwolf. Love is one of those guys you trade only as a last resort! As the Grizzlies GM I would have done the deal most definitely! The Timberwolves will rue this trade for years to come and Memphis is now one of the elite teams! Think about this. THe Grizzlies have a starting lineup of Augustine, Stephen Jackson, Gerald Wallace, Kevin Love and Marc Gasol, their bench includes Zach Randolph, Tony Allen, and Gerald Henderson!

The NBA is also reporting that the Spurs sent Jake Robinson to the D-League
