Been there done that. I tried everything. From simple reinstalling to tweaking of virtual memory to reformatting even to praying ( seriously ) . Nothing works. I've also tried using the DVD to run the game instead of running it through cracked .exe or mounting it's images. Still nada. And for the record, I do have the original game disk. It's just that I don't like the hassle of changing disk every time I wanna play a game hence the cracks.
I thank for the help up till this point though. But more ideas would definitely be appreciated. Thanks once again. And please help me more...
Try this in compatibility:
You're XP right? So it's okay
Check:
run as admin
run in 640x480 resolution
disable desktop something(not sure if there's such option on XP.)
Still realistic if you ask me.SkyLine03LT wrote:Derrick Rose was just killing me with his crossovers even if guarded by D Wade, because by the time my controlled player reacted to the push of the direction button, Rose already went the other way, and it's not like I was an inch distance to him, it was more like 3 or 4 feet.

- Addressed a playcalling issue where non-stars are getting a bulk of the plays run for them during specific situations.
Pdub wrote:For the cpu jacking up quick shots, check out the cpu tendency sliders. Anything unbalanced or too high will cause that. For instance, if short range or medium range is higher than the post up and attack the basket tendencies, than you will see post players out up a shot quickly without backing their defender down. Those sliders directly affect the players tendencies and can cause problems when they are changed too much. Also check the coachimg profiles as they really determine how teams play differently from each other.
In a past 2K game, the run plays tendency directly affected how many lays were actually called when playcalling was set to auto. The past couple games had plays called every obsession when playcalling is set to auto. I have seen the play "freelance" called once in 2K11. Freelance is basically no play being called, of course.
Pdub wrote:I understood you. I was trying to offer suggestions to try by looking at the cpu tendency sliders and coaching profiles. I think its a combination of player tendencies and coaching profiles that decide what plays get ran, along with the player tendencies.
I've also noticed the Derrick Rose issue, but it was before the patch. The Bulls were too easy because of it, so I increased the attack the basket tendency slider for the cpu to be higher than any other shooting tendency, and he drove to the basket pretty often, but there weren't a lot of plays called for him that I can remember.
Pdub wrote:You are right about the run plays slider. Its the frequency of how often plays are called as opposed to freelance. Like I noticed before, when playcalling is set to auto, it doesn't seemed to matter if the slider is low or not, a play is always called, but it didn't used to be like that. That is only my experience from the team I am controlling, I can't speak for the cpu teams.
I think plays are called for perimeter shooters more often than pick and rolls and post plays, but I do see a lot of pick and rolls when I am playing. So maybe Nash is getting plays ran for him because he has a good jumpshot.
