Glad to see the triumphant return of Wolves' basketball. Does Love's real-life all-star selection make that something to strive for in 11-12?

Now that I've got him rated in high 70's rather than default 74, he's a competent scorer inside now. I just wish he boarded more. He's rated 99 in both offensive & defensive boards, but it's hard to get more than double digit rebounds. Even when I do, I'm let down by sim engine getting him 4 or 5 boards (N)

Yes Lamrock, it was the triumphant return of T'wolves basketball  I actually planned on winning the game too until Kenny bloody Adams pulled a magic act on me. What you all don't know is a day or two before that, the great Steve Nash broke his patella & is out for a year. I wonder if he will retire, who knows?

I'm now actually looking towards off-season & specifically the Draft. It all going to depend on workouts. Where will I pick? I'm guessing anywhere between 1 & 5, but likely in top 3. What position do I pick or do I take best player available? Super deep draft so I don't want to miss. Might be worth trying to get a second lottery pick. I'll have to see how workouts go but I've got my eye on the Swede with the mo', Johan Svennson, the UCLA pedigree of SG Perry Buchanan & Maryland stud point guard Floyd Bradley. Ciro Nunez of Argentina intrigues me, but I might have to get a pick in 5-10 range to snap him up. Exciting stuff though (Y)

Go for Ciro! The game loves Argentines called Ciro haha

And it's alarming to hear that you 'plan to win/lose' ;)

The X, if you want to affect the sim engine, you need to lower the rebound rating of the other players. Wes Johnson is a candidate who always grabs about 7 rpg, which is a bit too high imo. Maybe lower everyone else by 5-10 points, especially those who you think get too many boards. It will raise Love's average.

Apart from that, this Kenny Adams guy is sick. I had kind of a similar story when I played the Suns. His name was Samardo Samuels ( he exists in RL) the Cavs somewhat waived him and PHX picked him up. This guy went nuts on me. 20 points off the bench.

I should've said I was focused on winning

Although I think I fell into their playing style, up & down the court. Damn Goran Dragic is a slippery little bastard once he gets inside the 3pt line on a drive

Cheers for the advice re ratings. I really don't like to mess too much with ratings though. I'll have a quick look at some of the other guys on the team & if I think they're clearly too high then I'll pull them back slightly.

As for Adams/Samuels, it's gotta be the Suns' style of offense. He just suddenly caught fire & every time he touched the ball he had no hesitation to pull the trigger. Every time kid shot it looked money & was. I probably should've changed up my defensive settings against him or done something, but I was thinking, D-Leaguer, she'll be right. I was just shocked this 6'10" guy was playing the way he did. Was good to see though. Glad the D-League can produce a good role player or two (Y)

Is Rod Benson in the D-League in the game? :)

Kenny Adams impressed me so much that if Suns don't re-sign him then I might take a look at him. Looks like an upgrade over Anthony Tolliver to me :P

No, unfortunately it's just random guys. But it's the same random guys every time you start an Association. Not sure if you ones are generated into D-League or whether undrafted prospects just fill the ranks.

The X, That'd be cool if you signed this guy. Don't overpay him though, we don't need another one & done player in the league with a fat contract.

Signing Kenny Adams would be a pretty good story seeing that he burnt you and you were impressed to offer him a 10 day deal.

Too bad bout Benson cause I do like him. :)

hova-, I wouldn't give him anymore than league minimum. Not going to overpay for him like T-wolves did for ex-D-Leaguer Anthony Tolliver :(

Nice pics really epitomize the season (and franchise). Looking forward to the draft, though I have a feeling you'll get the 4th pick.

You're probably right about the pick (N)

Just gotta spit out the final trimester updates, which I've drafted most of it so far, then some brief (since I'm not in) playoff coverage, then on to off-season :P

Can't wait for the off-season, I say you just kidnap Rubio and bring him over. Lock him up in the basement and bring him out for the games.
