Ouch, tough loss. Looks like you did re-write a new history. Here's to hoping the Rockets take down the Suns and the Pistons. :)

I'm not rooting for any team to win the Western Conference finals.

What is up with those Pistons getting trounced by the Nets. All those Rockets need is one more game but without Hakeem it might be very difficult.

It definitely will be harder for my Rockets to win without the Dream. Do they have Otis Thorpe or Robert Horry?

Now that Hakeem is missing, they play with:

Wayne "the Tree" Rollins as a Center, 7'1 ft -- 14th overall in 1977  but they need just a game to reach the Finals.

Otis Thorpe remains at the PF position.

Robert Horry is a candidate for the 1992 Draft (Y)

It would be very embarrassing for me when the Pistons get knocked out so easily by the Nets :x

Conference Finals 1992 (best of 5)

Game III (best of 5):

Phoenix Suns @ Houston Rockets 110 : 93 > 1:2

New Jersey Nets
@ Detroit Pistons 119 : 82 > 3:0 NO, this is NO joke they swept DET away and won with 37

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Game IV (best of 5):

Phoenix Suns @ Houston Rockets 72 : 101 > 1:3 > the Rockets reach the Finals even without Olajuwon

So its Rockets vs. Nets ...

.
I am a little sorry for Phoenix, they had the best record in the regular season and ended in the CF. This year they had a good chance to win their first title ever.
There are some rumors that there will be a huge trade between the Suns and the 76ers

The 1992 NBA Finals

Image

This is a Final that i never thought of when i started this Dynasty. The young team from New Jersey conquered the Eastern Conference and made it straight to the NBA Finals. Now that Olajuwon is down, what is possible for them? The Championship would be one of the biggest surprises in NBA history. :D

The Rockets often stumbled against the Lakers or the Celtics in the Finals, now they have the chance to win their first title in this "new" history.

The recent staring Lineups for both teams:

NewJersey:
C Derek Coleman
PF Elden Campbell
SF Chris Morris
SG Drazen Petrovic
PG Kenny Anderson
-----
6th Terry Mills

Houston:
C "Tree" Rollins *due to the injury of Hakeem Olajuwon
PF Otis Thorpe
SF B. Johnson
SG Vernon Maxwell
PG Kenny Smith
-----
6th Matt Bullard

Good news for all the Rockets Fans in here. Olajuwon will return earlier to the action. He may possibly return in Game 3 of the 1992 NBA Finals.

Once Olajuwon comes back, Rockets should destroy the Nets. I'm pretty surprised the Nets were able to sweep the Pistons. I hope Bullard dumps threes all over the place.

The battle between Coleman and Olujawon will decide the outcome of the game but since Olujawon will miss the first couple of days the series could be over by time he gets there. It would make one heck of a storyline though if they won.

No 15:

Wayne "the Tree" Rollins, he does a great jop replacing Olajuwon. He is already in his 15th season.

No 41:

Elden Campbell, he should be known from the Lakers. :D

Sorry i cant post any stats, NBA06 does not allow me to do so.

All i can say; Derek Coleman and Otis Thorpe are now League Leaders in Points, Field Goals and Rebounds!

So they put up a huge show!

Whoever wins the Title NJ or HOU, Coleman or Thorpe will be Finals MVP.
