Here are several former NBA players currently playing in the Philippines.

Art Long (San Miguel)
Torraye Braggs (Bgy Ginebra)

Art Long is playing tremendously for San Miguel, averaging 24.7 PPG and 19 rebounds a night. Unfortunately, he has a reputation here as a temperemental player, often shows a evil face whether someone does something he wont like.

Lang is no longer in the PBA for about two years after he was replaced during the Championship Series. I think Lang is currently in Japan but I'm not sure about that.

As for Burrell, he is no longer in the PBA too after the conclusion of the 2003 season.

Also, NBA draftees Galen Young (Alaska) and Mark Sanford (Coca-Cola) are also here in the Philippines.

Philippines -- PBA

Corey Hightower just signed a contract to play here. I'm not sure whether he played in the NBA or was merely drafted, but I do remember signing him up regularly in NBA Live 2001.

Jameel Watkins, who supposedly played for the Rockets this year has also been signed up recently. Although some teams have complained that he is over the 6'8" height limit for imports although the official measurement of the PBA is that he's 6'7" and 7/8.

It's really fun in the PBA this year, imports are being signed up and shipped out really fast, after just 8 games played by each team, around 25 imports have already played at least one game for the 10 PBA teams and that's not counting the dozen or so imports who tried out but weren't offered contracts.

Sure, the PBA has a history of replacing imports really fast, you can score 40 points on your first game but if you score 12 points on your next game you'll soon find yourself out of work. But the import-turnover rate in previous seasons wasn't this high.

It's really fun.
