So I'm trying to create a center with my new player. I made him huge 7'5'' and I want to play basically like Shaq back in the day, push in under the basket and score off little layups or dunks. I had a number of questions about what some of the skills mean and how useful they are to this type of player.
1) Shot Inside: Does this effect things like layup and other shots really close o the basket?
2) Shot Close: What's the difference from Shot Inside? Can one shot check against multiple skills?
3) Shot Lowpost: Again what's the difference between this and the last two?
4) Layup: How does this differentiate from the other skills? If I shoot a shot really close to the basket will it check a couple of skills like Lowpost, Inside, and Layup to determine sucess?
5) Standing Dunk: Besides when you get a rebound just under the basket when else would you ever do a standing dunk? Is this really useful?
6) Shoot in Traffic: Will I need this to dunk or layup over a defender?
7) Shoot of Dribble: Will I need this to dunk or layup when I back in towards the basket?
8) Ball Handle: Will I need any of this or is this just for the fancy ISO moves?
9) How important are Ball Security and Hands?
10) Offensive Lowpost: What does this effect?
11) Defensive Lowpost: What does this effect?
12) On Ball Defense: How useful is this to stop other player under the basket?
13) Quickness: People always talk about how a lot of Shaq's success was due to how quick he was but does my center need this in 2k11?
14) Strength: Will this help with defense inside?
A few non-skill questions also:
15) Besides backing up to the basket (LT and RT) and that step through move (LT and shot stick fast once then normal) what other moves are there to get into the basket?
16) Is there a limit to how many season you can play in My Player?
17) Is it normal that every team I'm on seems to go through seven coaches a year?
18) Do you have any other advice for making a center?
I know that's a lot thanks a bunch.
