With all the losses that are happening, I'm thinking of making my first move. I would like to know your opinion on a Jamison - Kirilenko trade. Would it benefit me? Would I rip the Jazz lineup if I do the deal? All comments and suggestions are appreciated

The Jazz are in no real need for a PF if you ask me. Millsap's pretty much their man. And honestly, who should score on your team when you give away Jamison. AK47 is a solid defender and allrounder, but no real scorer. If I was in your position i'd try to trade Jamison for a scoring wingmen and put Hickson in the starting 5.

Jamison's already coming off the bench actually. He isn't scoring much for me as he's only averaging 9ppg. The ones who score for me are Williams and Parker. The reason why I wanted to trade him is he's already whining about his playing time. I thought AK47 would be a perfect player for me since I don't need him to score and like you said he's a good defender. Plus he has an expiring contract which I can put to good use when off-season comes. Thanks for your input though. High appreciated

As hova said i will put Hickso in the starting five too,i think you can get more than AK47 for Jamison

Yeah dude, Hickyson has to start. I would look to move Varejao too perhaps, ridiculous contract. Plus you could get some nice pieces for him.

Cavs snap 4-game losing skid with win over Celtics The Celtics are hungry for a win as with a loss against the Cavs, they will go under 500 since the big three has been formed. But the Cavs are hungrier as they have lost their last 4 and would go under 500 for the first time this season.
And the hungrier team would most likely end up winning. The Cavs showed that in this game as they suffocated the Celtics with their defense limiting them to only 17 first quarter points with 20% shooting. But the Celtics would be back to their normal ways as they outscored the Cavs in the 2nd and 3rd quarter and would be up by 13 after three.
But the Cavs would not go away, they scored 6 unanswered points in the start of the 3rd quarter to cut the lead to 7. The Cavs would slowly close in as they will have an answer to every shot the Celtics would put up. Hickson provided the spark in the 4th as he was made the goto guy and score 15 of his 23 points in the fourth. The big men of Celtics did not have an answer for Hickson.
Mo Williams would hit a clutch trey with under 2 minutes remaining to take the lead 99-98. The Cavs never looked back after that as the finished with a score of 103-100. Mo Williams once again led the Cavs with 27 points and 11 assists. Hickson finished a season high 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Ray Allen scored 30 points for the Celts but would get any help from his other teammates. Paul Pierce, who has been struggling this season averaging 9.7 ppg, only scored 10 points in 5-19 shooting.

Rockets extend winning streak to 7 with comeback winBox Score The Cavs face the league-leading Rockets for the last game of December and they proved to be a challenge for them.
The Cavs kept close with the Rockets as they were only down by 2 points after the first. Yao Ming was double teamed as soon as he touches the ball in the post. He struggled with his shots but his teammates were there to help him.
The Cavs would make a run in the second quarter as they will lead by 6 before halftime.
The Rockets showed some signs of life as they would push the ball and take advantage of the Cavs' slow transition defense. The quarter saw 7 deadlocks as the Cavs would not allow the Rockets to take the lead.
The first half of the fourth quarter would be same as the third as the Rockets would tie the score up a couple of times. But the second half was different. With the Cavs leading by 2 points, Aaron Brooks pulled up for a trey and took the lead. The Rockets would never look back as they pushed their lead to double digits. The struggling Yao Ming finally got his rhythm and was sinking shot after shot.
The Cavs would attempt to cut the lead in the dying minutes but there was not enough time to make a comeback.
Kevin Martin and Aaron Brooks scored 27 apiece. Yao added 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Mo Williams scored 27 for the Cavs and Anthony Parker, who is back after suffering an injury, scored 21 points.

Wow man , 10-5 is great without Lebron , surely the Cavaliers won't be nearly as successful in real life.
Mon Dec 13, 2010 3:32 am
Man, Parker should be in the MIP Race! 23-6-5, that's huge.
Mon Dec 13, 2010 10:52 am
mandich, actually I'm 5-5 but it's still better than the real Cavs. Real Cavs are way below 500 and not bound to make the playoffs while if I can sustain this kind of game I'm still good for the 8th spot
Thierry •, I agree. But I think because he missed 4 games due to injury he wasn't able make it. I'm sure he'll catch up by the next month or so.

Forgot to ask, where do you find the Award Races on the game? Or you just saw the player cards?

Maybe you're still early in the season. It comes out after a few months I think.

Jamison's request granted, traded to IndianaThe upset Jamison instantly became happy when he was informed that he was going to be traded. Jamison requested a trade a few days ago because he was not receiving enough playing time. Jamison, who is only playing 17 minutes for the Cavs, was traded to the Indiana Pacers yesterday for SF Mike Dunleavy and PF Josh McRoberts.
The Pacers get a good starting PF and put James Posey back to the guard position. Posey's been playing PF for the Pacers since they lack players in that position. While the Cavs get 2 exipiring contracts that they can put to good use for the coming free agency.
Wed Dec 15, 2010 1:22 am
Nice deal considering Dunleavy's huge expiring contract
Thu Dec 16, 2010 10:49 am
Thierry •, Thanks! Jamison's really bitching about his playing time so I thought it's about time to get rid of him.

Cavs upset defending champs Lakers, 116-107Box Score The Cavs are on a 3-game west road trip where they will face 3 playoff teams.
The first on the list were the defending champs LA Lakers.
The Lakers, as always, started out strong led by Kobe Bryant, who got his first two points with a fadeaway jumper at the right baseline. The Lakers would continue their strong start as they will lead by 9 at the end of the first quarter.
With the Lakers' hot shooting, the Cavs had no other choice but to fight fire with fire. They came out shooting better in the second quarter and tried to just outscore them instead of stopping them from scoring. The Cavs scored 7 more points than the Lakers in the second quarter and trimmed the lead to just 2 by the end of the first half.
The game would be a total shooting spree as both teams would knock down shot after shot. The Cavs would obtain their first lead of the game with an and1 play by Anderson Varejao with under 6 minutes remaining. Third quarter finished with the Cavs leading by just 2 points.
The Cavs started to pull away in the fourth as they would lead by five throughout. Kobe Bryant kept the game close as he shot more than the other quarters. But the Lakers would not comeback as Hickson would ice the game with a spin to the basket from the post.
Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 34 points and missed only 4 shots in the game. Hickson, Williams and Gibson scored 24 points apiece.
The Cavs would face the Utah Jazz for the second game of their 3-game road trip

Yeah good deal for you and the Pacers
