Heat ball really on fire...

man, i'm so fucking proud of the heat players after that win over the mavs yesterday. it was the first heat game i've had a chance to watch on tv this season, and they are playing so well... they're playing with their heart and souls, ya know...

7 wins in a row... that's it... we're going to the playoffs, i'm sure... and without a real center (Zo is the man!), but i know these players will fight until the end, they play well together, they've got that team chemistry that is so hard to acquire.

we will probably confront the nets or the hornets in the 1st round... and we've got a PRETTY good chance at beating any of these two teams the way the team is playing right now.

what do you think guys? will the heat go deep (i mean, at least 2nd round) into the post-season?

I'm sure they're going to the Playoffs. And they're with 2 or maybe 3 players out of their natural positions.

In a Heat vs Hornets match-up, I think the Heat could win. They're on fire lately. But after that, i'm not sure.

the way they're playing right now ... they'll make the 2nd round, 3rd round, or even take it to the finals! that's a pretty bold statement ... but think about it ... they have great athletes. lamar odom has finally come to play, dwayne wade, eddie jones, and now rafer alston!!!
they play well on both ends ... i was real happy for them when they won yesterday on that last second shot by alston.
i think stan van gundy also has made his case this year ... do u remember the heat started out 0 - 7 or something like that this year?
and now we're talking about them going deep in the playoffs.
that's an awesome job van gundy has done down there. i see a bright future for the heat.

I love it, Rafer has been so big all year, and the Heat are in 6th place.

Wade is just been sick every game, Odom has stepped it up, and Butler finally got ino rythm after the very slow start. After the Heat get a real center everyone should fear them.

The inside presence is too weak for the Heat to go deep in the playoffs, I think we're still the worst blocking team in the league, and thats where the exploitation will begin.

We can't handle the likes of JO, Magloire and Big Ben and Sheed. :(

Haha, did you see Janero Pargo explode also, lol the Raptors keep taking Milt and Archibald over people and they don't even play anymore.

I love the Heat man but I hope they finish either 4th or 5th so they have a good shot of making it to the second round. Rafer sucks, fellow Raptors fans, please look at his stats before you start crying over him. He shoots below 40%. Wade is F*CKING amazing and Odom has been playing like an All-Star.

Seiously fgrep, we should have waived Milt. That's why KO needs to go, he favours guys like Michael Curry, Archibald and Palacio over people like Moiso and Murray.

I think he's low shooting % is mainly due to the fact that 378 of his 669 shots attempted have been three pointers. Its just the fact that he can shoot the ball and dribble with his left, and doesn't pass to the refs, and doesn't do jump stop at half court when he gets double teams, compared to Milt's abilities he's an All-Star, because Milt is also shooting under 40% but isn't hitting big shots.

I never actually checked, but because he makes so many three's, and obviously three's are worth more the 2's, Rafer's efficiency FG% is 48.5%, 0.2% less than Wade's, higher than Carter's at 45.7%, so its reallt not that bad.

You cannot say that someone sucks because they shoot below 40%! Many players in the NBA do. Another reason that you can't say that he sucks is because he won the game on the buzzer against the Mavs! People who suck do not do that! They don't even get the ball in those situations. They aren't even on the court in those situations!

Man, they didn't even get on the bus, they're back in their hotel room watching a Better Basketball video hosted by Arenas and Bibby.

But man, the Heat are so hot, Alston is really showing the world why they call him Skip. He doesn't just have an amazing handle. Odom is really playing well, he's posting double doubles, triple doubles, whatever, he's really mixing it up with Wade and Grant. Man Wade probably hasn't gotten as much publicity as Bron or Melo, but like Hinrich, they play every night just as well as the 1 & 3 picks. And Grant, the reggae dude is really showing the other centres in the league, how to play. These Heat players along with Van Gundy are heading to the playoffs, and will probably meet the Pacers in the Conference Finals!!
