The 1992 Draft will be interesting, maybe the Bobcats will have a good position in the draft lottery.

possible draft candidates

- O'Neal
- Mourning
- Robert Horry
- Weatherspoon
- Gugliotta
- Laettner
- Latrell Sprewell

i am going to write a small draft forecast later on. but i think 1st overall is already determined

when they end up with O'Neal or Mourning they will make the playoffs in 1993 i am sure about that :D

---

Btw:
The Nets made a nice trade to boost their lineup. They traded M. Blaylock and Sam Bowie for Elden Campbell from the Lakers. They shouldnt be underestimated this year.
With Coleman , Campbell and Chris Morris they have a strong front court. The young Kenny Anderson takes Blaylocks position from now on.

Notes:
- i can't update this topic until monday so i speed it up a little and added two more games
- the next weeks starts with the second part of the duel Pacers vs. Bulls, another defeat against Indiana would mean a preliminary decision towards the Division Championship.

Those two game must have been exciting. Those 90's Sonics and Warriors were always so fun to watch.

Notes:

- the eastern conference is still very close, up to P13 with the Cavs all teams seem to have Playoff views
- John Stockton , maybe the Player of the Month, All Star Game MVP and best West Player, to me a hot candidate for the most improved player award
- Michael Jordan got the Player of the East award for the 2nd time this season, we will see if it is enough to catch up with Barkley and Ewing
- Dale Davis on the road to Rookie of the Year 1992

- an interesting Trade between the Lakers and the Nets: Campbell only 6th man with the Lakers is going to build up a strong frontcourt with Coleman and Morris in New Jersey. The Lakers got a strong playmaker with Blaylock. Magic Johnson is playing his 12th season already and maybe he will retire within the next years. So the Lakers got a nice backup.

- moved the Charlotte Hornets to New Orleans, its a little confusing having 2 Charlotte teams.

Notes:
- the Pacers also lost 2 games and the gap between the Bulls and the Pacers reduces a bit
- the defeat against the Clippers was very needless
- if i want to catch up Indiana i need to win against those teams :|
- Scott Williams took a minor injury and will return within 2 weeks
- the next two games will be epic: Chicago Bulls @ LA Lakers and Boston Celtics @ Chicago :bowdown2:

Suprised you lost to the Heat and Clippers but at least the Pacers dropped some games. I have NO Idea who Gary Grant is either .

I didnt know him before, but now  he killed me

The Pacers seem to stumble, they are 30-13 now 3 losses in a row. Dont know whats going on with them. I think i will catch them in April.

I dont have to fear other teams in the east at the moment, the 3rd best is New Jersey with 25-21, there is a bunch of teams with almost an equal record.

It will be very exciting who makes the playoffs and who not.

A classic one
It was the remake of the 1991 Final and also another heads-up between two of the most determining players in the 80's and early 90's.

The Lakers surely wanted to take revenge of the hurting defeat in the last years finals, but this evening the Bulls were just to good once again. Though Magic Johnson and Byron Scott made both more than 30 points it wasnt enough. Horace Grant and Michael Jordan led the Bulls to a 109 : 101 win.

The Celtics beat the Bulls even without Larry Bird...

Tonight the Celtics beat their eastern rival in an exciting game. Especially in the 2nd quarter Boston made a huge step for the win. Despite the fact that the Celtics play a very week season this evening they played like in their best years. Especially Reggie Lewis the Forward of the Boston Celtics made a great game, he made 23 of his 29 points in the first half!

The season isnt over yet and the Celtics still have a good chance to get into a better shape for the 1992 playoffs.

Grant came up big against LA. He is one of the most underrated players I've ever seen. Reggie Lewis was a beast and I can only imagine how good the C's would be if he was around.

Grant was always behind some big players like Jordan and Pippen in Chicago and later on behind O'Neal and Hardaway in Orlando. But i think he was essential for the Magic to reach the finals in 1995.

Boston is a small letdown in this fictional season. They are struggeling for the playoffs. Bird stayed much under his means, i hope he will do another year and show his true abilities once again.

Notes:

- still many movement in the Eastern Conference, up to the 76ers all teams have realistic playoff chances
- Larry Bird suffers on a back injury, this will handicap the Celtics in the end off the seaso
n

- the Bulls took the first time the lead in the East, but April will be a hard month for them. Teams like San Antonio, LA Lakers and New Jersey waiting for them
- the Cavs one of the rising teams in March, they made it from P11 to P7

- the Knicks drop out of the playoff places but the gap is still very small
- Philadelphia disappointed me, i expected more of them. With Glen Rice and Barkley they have two superstars in their rows but they cant compete this year

- nice to see Chris Mullin Player of the Month in the West
- East Player Charles Barkley -- nothing surprising , i think this will be the 1992 MVP

What is up with those Nets man? They seem to be competing very well in the Eastern Conferrence. And how come the assist totals are so incredibly LOW. Anyway to fix that.

The Nets are really surprising me. Coleman seems to be a dominating player in this roster. Chris Morris got nice ratings too. The next game will be against the Nets, lets see how they compete against the Bulls :cheeky:

I think the real Nets were in the dumps to that time, funny to see the varieties between real and fictional 1992 season. The Celtics and the Cavaliers are really far away from where they should be.

The results in the West , are the ones i expected.

I also wondered about the low assist rates, in former Dynasties they were something between 9 and 11 apg. I have no idea whats the reason for that. On the other hand the RPG rate is higher than usually in my dynasties. Compared to an older dynasty with 98 rosters; Payton led the league with 10,2 apg. O*Neal led rebounding with only 12,0.

I play 4 x 6 minuites and simulation is 12 minuites.

New Jersey dominating in Chicago!
One of the surprising teams this season the New Jersey Nets confirmed their top position in the East by beating the Bulls in Chicago. The rebounding superiority of the Nets was terrifying. At the first half the Nets led with 12 points, Chicago grabbed only 7 rebounds when the Nets already had 19.

Grant and Williams couldnt compete with the strong Frontcourt of the Nets. Campbell who was a 6th man in Los Angeles was traded against Blaylock in February. He already well coorperates with Coleman and Morris. On the Shooter position they have a real threat in Drazen Petrovic. Petrovic was the high point man of the Nets with 31 points.

I think we are going to see much more from this young talented team in the future.

On the Bulls side the marvellous performance of Michale Jordan faded due to the loss of the Bulls. Jordan made 50 points for the second time this year, but all in all it wasnt enough to stop the Nets.

I like that New Jersey Nets team, i could imagine to lead them as a GM, it must be fun to compete with them. The lineup is full with young talented players. (Y)

Maybe my favourite team beside the Bulls in this roster, but in the Playoffs i will show no mercy.

I like those 1st couple of picks in the draft. If Horry plummets to you snatching him up would be great..

A moment of shock for the Bulls...
The Bullets were not a challange for Chicago tonight. The Bulls controlled the game just from the begining.

Chicago had to suffer a moment of shock when Michael Jordan leaves the court just 10 seconds before the end of the game due to an injury. Fortunataly he only had a bruise inside his upper leg and he will be able to compete in the next game against the Spurs.

Jordan dropping out just before the playoffs would be a huge disaster for Chicago.

The Spurs who played a really strong month with 8 wins in a row failed to beat the Bulls tonight. Early in the season San Antonio was able to win in Chicago, but today they had no chance from the beginning.
Now that the playoffs approache the Bulls seem to increase their deeds and act up very strong.
