Good Day all,
I need help badly on how can I solve my problem.
The game slows from 70 fps to 14 fps frequently during game for about 30 seconds, then after 30 seconds it will go back to 70 fps but then the problem occurs until the end of the game.
I've encountered this glitch since 2k10 but then It happened again nowadays every time I play 2k11.
Please somebody help me.

Thanks

Thanks for the Reply Karslada10, I've already uninstalled my AVG anti virus.. and the slowing of the game minimizes.. from 5 slowing instance per quarter to about 3 in a game, it helps a lot but how can I permanently get rid of this glitch? I think my specs meets the game requirements anyways, and I a do have 60-70 fps in fraps when the game is running normally.
My Specs anyway is:
Video Card- GeForce 9400 GT 1gb
RAM- DDR2 2gb
Processor- AMD athlon dual core 5200+ 2.71 GHz
any advice from anyone is welcome by the way,
thanks,

I can't believe you are getting 70 fps with that setup anyway.

Try downloading Gamebooster 2 beta 3. It will disable some unnecessary programs in the background.
Have you tried to use the benchmark which is built on 2k11?

How much hard drive space do you have on your C drive? While playing a game, it writes several gigabytes to the cache folder for replays. It's possible that there is some major disk swapping going on, or you might have some malware that is trying stealing processing power while playing the game. The readme file for 2K11 states that you should have a Windows page file on the disk that the game is installed on.
Going from 70 fps to 14 is a huge drop and should not have anything to do with your video card.

How large do you have your pagefile set to?

The readme sais to use a system managed size, or automatic.

Maybe you are right sir about the hard drive.. it shows only 1.7gb, the partition wasn't managed well..
Windows page file? sorry sir, I'm not familiar with the term? how to adjust it? what's the correct setting for page file? thanks

Try to free some hard drive space before worrying about that. If you have 2K11 installed on your C drive the system page file won't matter anyway.

Find some big programs or games on the c drive and uninstall them. Then reinstall them on another drive. Defragment drive c. Look for old save games from other games that take up space on the c drive and delete them or move them to another drive.
