FPS Question

Today I got a new GPU - GTS 250 1GB. I wanted to run Nba on max settings but I get 15-25 fps on player setting high depending on MSAA quality. I wonder if it's the CPU of mine, which is nothing fancy (AMD Athlon x2 2.2GHz) or something that can be addressed?

The whole point is to run on high not on medium -.- . If I wanted to play on medium I wouldn't have posted this in the first place. After all, I think every single person on this planet knows that lowering the quality increases performance, duuh.

Did you update your drivers?

Yeah, no change.

My guess is that you have a CPU bottleneck. Your CPU isn't fast enough to allow the video card to function at full speed. It probably is having trouble with the cloth simulation on the jeresy.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking...
