Weird problems...

Wed Nov 10, 2010 7:31 am

I installed nba 2k11 about 1 week ago and it worked well without problems but 2 or 3 days i have started to have some problems.I enter the game and everything works well in the start but as more i play the game this more problems i have. And after 1.5 quarter the game terraces or how could i say it(works much slower than at the start=.And some weird graphics problems happen like this one http://i51.tinypic.com/2937gqv.jpg and not just when i press start but ingame,pf usage is so high and when i quit the game still si high. And this is bad because i can't play the game.I enjoy just fot 10 minutes and after that i must leave it...

EDIT: If somebody wants to see processes and thinks that this could help him to solve my problems

http://i52.tinypic.com/nnlekw.jpg this is pf usage when i leave the game

http://i53.tinypic.com/2j5bc4y.jpg and processe

i can post this two ss but when the game is running slow if this is needed..

Page File Usage is irrelevant.

Check your graphic cards temperature. Overheating can cause artifacts.

Just leave GPU-Z running in the background while you test.

Hmm, that should be fine, that's a great temperature to have. It certainly sounds like a heat issue but at that temp it doesn't seem to be. It is odd that the fan speed isn't reporting though.

What driver version do you have installed? (It will say on the first tab of GPU-Z.)

I think that i realized where is the problem.I played the game for about 10 minutes and then the problems started. And i wanted print screen and create ss but when i pressed "print screen" button i got this message.
Insufficient memory to create a bitmap.Close one or more applications to increase available memory.

Does it means that the problem is in my ram? Thanks for help in advance...

Searchsettings.exe is considered a trojan. You should remove it.

Description of SearchSettings.exe
This malware is an advertisement software. It injects a dll into internet explorer to show advertisement when you are surfing internet.

But i think that avira or any other antivirus can find any type of malware and avira has found some trojans but when i scanned my pc earlier today it didnt found any malware.

But look that http://i53.tinypic.com/20913ww.jpg this is task manager when i minimized the game when this problem occurs.http://i51.tinypic.com/wi0ggi.jpg Look at that, nba takes just around 500,600 of my ram but pf usage is 1,4 gb and i am wondering where is 700-800mb.I think that this is the thing that caused this http://i54.tinypic.com/2h4ai3n.jpg and this http://i54.tinypic.com/24v7eia.jpg.I can play the game for 1,5 quarter without any problems on hugh details and then these preety pictures...

Those artifacts look like something that happens when there are memory errors. They can be caused by bad video memory or overheating or just pushing clock speeds of hardware components beyond what they are capable of doing.

Are you overclocking any part of your system? 2K11 is pretty sensitive to that. My 2K11 uses a lot of memory, too.

Have you tried setting your nba 2K11 folder as an exception so your AntiVirus program doesn't scan it?

Do those problems happen only after you go to the desktop and back to the game?
You should really contact 2sports about this problem.
