McGrady Talks

PORTLAND, Ore. -- This is your captain speaking . . .

"You could tell by the first quarter it was going to be a long night and a struggle. It was one of those games you just already put it in the books, man," Tracy McGrady said after the Magic were routed 110-85 by the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, 48 hours after scaring the purple and gold out of the L.A. Lakers.

"You get up for those games. [But] a team that's not going to the playoffs. Two bad teams out there. . . . It's like, 'What are you playing for?' "

Does anyone in the NBA still have passion for the game? I can see where T-Mac's coming from, but I still hate to see that kind of attitude. (N)

Yeah its kinda immature of him. I'm a big fan of his but i don't like that type of attitude. I know hes tired of losing, but man you've got to play the game like its youre last... :(

That's a lot easier said than done. He's already worked his butt off in something like 50-60 games and accomplished nothing. Anyone who doesn't let off at that point is probably self-destructive...

if we could just share the ball more and not always shoot the ball then they maybe in the playoff hunt right now. just a ball hog player with immature attitude!!!! not a role model for coming generation!!!
