How does one go about doing this? Ive only just found how to set all the 2kshare stuff up.

Oh and X, was wanting to ask you, whats with all the boxscore hate of late? I personally like to be able to check players stats etc, its a good way to follow certain players in Dynasties, especially when im short on time.

Game Stats - Game Tracker - Select play i.e "Curry Dunk" click on it , then on the ps3 click the "L3" button then save reply ... or i think you have the option to just direct upload from there.

Yep, was pretty funny. Quickest way to get on the wrong side of CWebb  To his credit, he stayed pretty professional throughout (Y)

hova- wrote:Wow, so much Love for Darko ... I hope Pekovic can do more for you (he's still injured?), he's better than Darko.

I don't have the love for Darko but seems Kahn & everybody else does :P Peko looked solid in first couple of games played but he's still injured. He'll get his chance to renew the Darko vs Peko battle

That's actually quite handy, I'll have to give it a look. That is easy

Image PIC OF THE DAY

Image
Always focused, Corey Brewer (right) tries to come up with a plausible explanation for Jonny Flynn (left) as to why he's wearing one high sock and one low sock. Once Brewer finished pleading his case, the Timberwolves were able to hang on and withstand the Bulls' late rally from a 13 point fourth quarter deficit.

Good to see you snatching some wins, especially vs the Bulls, which was not expected imho. Kings ain't bad either, definitely some success in here. Still no go-to-guy on your roster, but Love keeps up his consistency.

Not much consistency on any position, but I'm glad that Brewer has been among the top scorers in most of the games. :)

Unstoppable at the moment.

Lamrock wrote:2 wins! Couldn't have been possible without Darko's passing. ;)

Not only that, but it was on a very rare back-to-back game, which is almost unheard of in a 29 game season :P

As for Darko, he's a double double machine (12 & 11). His passing was clearly superb, his teammates just let him down by not making their shots :P

hova- wrote:Good to see you snatching some wins, especially vs the Bulls, which was not expected imho. Kings ain't bad either, definitely some success in here. Still no go-to-guy on your roster, but Love keeps up his consistency.

The Bulls game was actually my first ever win in 2k11  Ironically enough I played the game over four and a half hours due to being left in charge of baby for the night & I was playing better that way & was up 16 when my wife got home. By the time I actually sat down & played without distraction, I almost blew it. Maybe something to read in that, I dunno

Yep, Bulls were soft. After I slowed down Boozer (27 & 12) after his 10pt, 5reb first quarter it was smooth sailing. Boy Derrick Rose is weak. No jump shot. Even Jonny Flynn outplayed him

Thierry. wrote:Yep some great games by Love and Brewer. Sucks that loss against the Grizz with 3 players over 20 pts. (N)

Brewer's been great actually. He starts for me only due to his defensive prowess & extreme wingspan (which the game seems to accurately represent finally, God bless their them :P ). He's locked in at the SG spot. Actually all my starting spots are locked down (C- Darko, PF- Love, SG- Brewer, PG- Flynn) with exception of the SF spot. Webster currently has it but he might be better in 6th man role. Beasley he'll get a shot. Then there is rookie Wesley Johnson who is also in the mix. When all is said & done, whilst they are both on bench at the moment, I can see it coming down to Beas vs Wes.

Yep, sucked losing to Grizz. I did get it to within 3 or 4 points in 4th quarter after some great play from Wesley Johnson and Martell Webster, but alas, Rudy Gay was just too much. I'll get them next season

Martti. wrote:Not much consistency on any position, but I'm glad that Brewer has been among the top scorers in most of the games. :)

That's the T'wolves for you :P Although Brewer & Love are showing some pretty good consistency (at least in played games, can't talk for simmed ones).

Thanks for comments guys. It's mid-December, I've knocked back a Spurs' offer of Tony Parker for Beas & my 1st Round pick. I could probably make deal happen with my 2nd Round pick (instead of 1st Round), but doesn't seem realistic since I already have Flynn & Rubio in mix. Besides, Parker is in last year of deal & would likely bolt to NY or somewhere. Nice offer from Spurs though, seems like a vintage Spurs move. Get rid of Parker, promote George Hill to starting PG, Beasley is transformed playing next to Tim Duncan & he finally finds his footing, plus Spurs get another draft asset. But yep, no plans to trade Beasley at this stage.

I'll be doing 4 'major' updates per season. The way I see it is the NBA regular season is broken up into three parts, teams finding their feet (late Oct/season commencement to Xmas), good teams separating themselves from the pack (Xmas to All-Star Break), then the final push for the playoffs (All-Star Break to mid April/season end). Obviously after that the real season (playoffs) start. If for some outrageous reason I don't make it to the playoffs this season then playoff coverage will likely be in one 'major' update.

Cheers (B)

Much needed tweak to make ASSociation mode great (Y) I'm sure changes will apply to ASSociations already in progress. If not, would have to throw this one in the bin (N)

No, not player of the game. Just his first ever game of total domination (10pts, 6rebs & facial dunk of Blatche in 18mins) of the NBA, that is all :P

For the record, somehow that clown Josh Howard beat out Peko for POTG (N)

I would've been alright if I had played better D & not turned the ball over so much. Really need somebody to step up as team's star but just can't see it happening this year. (N)

Re: X's T'wolves Association (NBA 2K11) - TRIMESTER UPDATE P

Postby The X on Thu Oct 21, 2010 6:30 am

Image 2010/11 1st TRIMESTER UPDATE (PART ONE)

Outside of a few good days, it was a pretty rough start to the season for the Minnesota Timberwolves. As you would expect from such a young team with no proven leader that runs an offense (Triangle) that doesn't suit its personnel (athletic wings with questionable bball IQ), the team started slow with sloppy play and hasn't really fully recovered. The team currently sits 14th out of 15 teams in the Western Conference with a pro-rata 6-20 (0.2222) record, one game ahead of the equally woeful Utah Jazz. In the Beastern Conference, where a 0.6000 record team like the Portland Trailblazers can only manage to sit in sixth place, you know that the T'wolves are screwed.

Performance-wise, rookies Wesley Johnson and Nikola Pekovic have shown some good promise. Other than that, supposed team stars Jonny Flynn and Michael Beasley have been very inconsistent. The only real consistency shown in the team has been by team captain Kevin Love (except for his shooting %'s) and wiry swingman Corey Brewer.

Looking forward, not all hope is lost though as the team hired two top quality scouts to team up with the pathetic, overpaid guy still there from the Kevin McHale days, so the team is scouted the globe for talent. The team hopes to gel more in the coming trimester, pick up a few more wins as it builds to the future and hopefully get a few of its players representing the franchise at the All-Star Weekend. Should be an interesting January and February as the team tries to get back into contention in the Northwest Division.

Just what I expected ... no real go-to-guy and thus it's tough to run a consistent offense. I'm glad that I have Tyreke on my team, because it just opens up so much options on offense (in 2k11 it actually does - drive&kick ... drawing DTs).

Hoping for some rookie scouting ;) Good update (Y)

Cheers for kudos re recaps. I tried to go back to my Bobcats/Blazers' style that was so popular in the past. This one has more pics though, which is kudos to my Bucks' 2k10 Association.

Yep, I'm surprised by Brewer too. I thought he'd be a backup but his solid play at both ends has made him hard to keep off the court. Who would've thought Brewer would be team's most consistent player?

I think Love will be better next trimester. He's actually averaging more like 14 & 10 when I use him but his sim play has brought his averages down across the board.

Agree completely about the lack of go-to-guy.

And yes, your hope is not unsubstantiated  No pics in it though since I'm too lazy to use digital camera or sim ahead, but will have one report each trimester

Other than that, I foresee myself dealing Ridnour before trade deadline, I see Telfair becoming backup until Rubio joins team (that's still iffy I guess at this stage). Apart from that, just ride out the season
