EU-AUS/US version - Small Logos Missing on Courts Fixed

Talk about NBA 2K11 here.

I know the different play types. I'm talking about the roster update though, or alleged change to the settings online, whichever caused the alleged change.. People are saying the play generally is more arcadic now, guards dunking over Dwight Howard type of arcadic.

Despite the play thing, My Player is better this year.

Game has plenty of problems, all sports games every year always do, the problems of a ten-month dev cycle.

I know it's improved, but how about the opponents.. do they play as themselves? Or does Bargnani play the same as Oden?

And I've read complaints about your teammates totally sucking. Brandon Roy bricking everything kind of bad. Averaging 25 ppg on the Kings and going 1-19 type of things. lol

And yeah I agree, there will always be issues and gripes but some are just spoiling my excitement to go get the game. I was expecting to be anxious to get out from work to go play, and yeah I kind of planned to go all out and buy a controller and try online for the first time and all the good stuff, but now I don't know if it's really worth it if there's something that's going to annoy me in literally every single mode.

And I wasn't expecting a perfect game I said the 9.5 was overrated too but I definitely would have thought at least some of these bugs wouldn't be there. I mean what's the point of such a sophisticated play calling system if it's not used in all modes, it's just common sense to put it in my player as well. Thing like that annoy the hell out of me lol.

By some of that logic you'd never play a game. I'm often the same way. The stupidest shit can be completely gamebreaking for me but then I can also overlook it if the game as a whole is good enough.

But the opponents do play properly. Regarding the teammates there seems to be some kind of weird bug where the "star" or highest usage player does take a lot of bad shots when the AI cannot figure out a way to score.

I haven't seen anything with the update, plays the same as before.

I'm thinking the playcall thing might be some kind of oversight or it's not working as it should, same as the PC benchmark. VC does this all the time. Not to try and encourage you or anything. It's a stupid flaw since it was there last year.

lol yeah but I just like it as realistically as possible.

I'm pretty confident they'll fix that play-calling, although i bet they'll forget to do it for Jordan Legend mode then lol, but yeah I'm not worried about that, but it'll take time, and I could use that time to get a U.S. copy shipped and get more realism along the way lol.. or buy it and get a head start but with glitches. Not really sure what it costs to get a US copy instead though..
If I'd have the US version I'd probably smile every time I see the small Bulls logo's, so that's worth something lol.

I know I'd still enjoy the game buying it today though. But I'd resort to only play a pg in MP mode for example, or play different modes. It just affects my gameplay, and the degree to which I enjoy it.

I'm not sure if they'll do anything about the Jordan modes, they seem pretty adamant that they designed it in a certain way in regards to people asking for it to use 12 minutes instead of 8 for example.

The logo thing may or may not be fixed. If it is indeed a legal issue, it'll never happen. If that was just a smokescreen, they could possibly patch it.

I mean when you add Jordan to a team after the challenges. When you get to be Jordan as my player basicly. I'm assuming that has the same glitch as my player as it is but not sure because hardly anybody is playing it yet.

I already know you can change it to 12 minutes for PC which I definitely will be doing. Some challenges become harder btw like the Nique and Drexler challenges. And I just don't like it on default. Jordan scored 63 vs Boston in double overtime lol. In this scenario you basicly have to give him the ball every possession.

I'm not going to play it on easy level though so it should still be a challenge. I saw Chris Smoove's video and the Celtics defense was just atrocious lol.

I was just mentioning that they've got complaints from the console folks about things like that Boston game where it's not comparable, and they've basically said "nope, not gonna change it." Though they might in the end, since they did My Player last year. The play stuff might have been along the same lines for whatever reason.

Yeah I know. Screw him though, long live Pc modding.

When I mentioned MJ mode I meant the playcalling though, locked in as MJ. I expect the same crappy gameplay as my player (from teammates).

I haven't read one good review on teammates in my player..

Play a game with the Raptors at home, if it's a claw in a circle in the middle it's "right" and if it's something else it's "wrong" and if anything outside of this happens burn down JaoSming's house.

since we confirmed here that .exe file is responsable for not having correct courts in EU/AUS i hope someone will find a way to correct this.

i ordered my copy of nba 2k11 form ebay and i want to have correct logos for my money. it's my hard earend money and have every right to get the game it's supposed to be for it. this is nothing to do with piracy, it's all about honesty and rights that we have for our own money.

yeah, i thought so.
I think we have to wait some skilled programmer to make us a patch or some memory patch to make our exe to load correct logos and the missing ones.

North America is not a continent. America is a continent, I live in Brazil, same continent of USA and Canada, but we have to buy EU/AUS version.
Let's see the good way, at least i don't live at México/USA border and had to buy a worse and more expensive version of game just because i live 100m away from the US border.

DAMN 2K and this bullshit about wrong courts! You make this "simple solve" mistake shit and we have to spend too much time, effort and pass through regulations, laws and good will of friends to get that fixed... AND paying more for the game then ANY American or Canadian.

Depends which model you recognise if you're debating the number of continents from a geographical standpoint. As far as video games and media are concerned, a distinction is certainly made between North and South America as a region.

sorry my brazilian brother

seven regions commonly regarded as continents – they are (from largest in size to smallest): Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.[1]

Don't believe everything you read on Wikipedia, it's a everyone add information encyclopedia.

America is 1 Continent, North Armerica and South America is 2 Sub-continents, many times taken as 2 diferent continents, but that's wrong.
Anyway, i won't argue on that subject.

Back to logos...
Found a way to fix the center logos. Its a pack of iff logo files for the court with wrong center logos. (logo***.iff). JUST IFF FILES, NO EXE on it.
http://www.hotfile.com/dl/74626298/ac0c ... 0.zip.html
Just extract the iff files to your NBA 2K11 folder, backup your original files.

About the small logos, i think only a patch or memory patch could do the trick.
