can you confirm this 100%? can someone else also confirm this?

and what does it mean? that cavs don't have that "cavaliers" center ice logo, also warriors don't have new team logo with golden gate bridge on AUS/EU version? that's ridiculous.

again, you guys are taking it way too far

ONLY the courts are messed up, in some cases the center logo is changed, in others the small logos inside the 3pt arc is changed.

all teams have updated jerseys, logos, etc.
Opinions are my own.

i am speaking about the courts. i just want 100% accurate informations what exactly is different. in details.

for example, in 2k10 several teams had totaly different court design. in eu/aus verision of the game, raptors had a "raptor" on centre court, bobcats had "bobcats" written on centre court, while us verison had raptor's claw, while bobcats had bobcat's head on centre ice. and that was so wrong.

so i want to know in details what's different in 2k11. when someone writes only "it's different" without description, that doesn't mean anything to me.

well in that case

that is the official response from 2K, it is a legal issue, it is done on purpose not negligence,

Curiously, low quality floors are correct, at least most of them. I think it is not hard coded but its an issue with some of the floor files.

How are some team logos copyrighted enough that they can't be used overseas, but some aren't? That doesn't make the slightest bit of sense.

Jaosming, sorry man, but this is bullshit 2K is telling to customers. It was NOT mand on purpose! Low quality courts are almost perfect in terms of logos. So, if you have a low end pc its ok to have all the right logo on the right places???

I think they just upgrade the court packages (iff files of courts), inserting some new texture, but leaving most of them the way they were on 2k10. If that thing of copyrights was true, the low quality courts would be just as the high quality ones, with the same outdated logos and missing ones.

Anyway, i think we just need to get it fixed by ourselves.

Suns center logo is diferent
- AUS version has the primary logo (the rectangular one)
- EU version has the secondary logo (PHX script with a phoenix on flames)

I haven't played at all stadiums, but in 2k10 were different ... 2k11 are almost the same

.....so with this whole legal thing, I can't find the post on OS i first referred to. I remember something legal being the reason but I can't find the source. So maybe I'm just losing my damn mind.

How about sharing the floor files to see if that is the issue and maybe not the exe? Is that possible?
Anyway, here are the 60 floors screen shots, as promised. http://img683.imageshack.us/g/nba2k11wizardzo.jpg/

we'd rather not distribute original files, but to see if it works, try my raptors court

I have the US version, and in game, it looks fine

Same results, same as year ago, same bulls88t by 2k. Only batch file will help.
We are worse clients than US, we must use low texture of courts to get authentic courts. Im confused.

You were right JaoSming is the exact same file as I've got. How about memory patching? Like you did with the Jordan Challenge's 8 to 12 minutes? Can you memory patch to force the game to load the correct logos?

EXACTLY! This year, the court files are the same for the 2 versions, in other words, raptors court files (f022.iff) has the claw logo inside, no old logo, BUT, the exe loads the old logo, i think from the menu logos, and put it on the center. Same thing on all other courts like bobcats...

I read on some post that 2k said that cavaliers sent a "artistic" version of court, so thats why the paint is blue on 2k11... Bullshit again! Just change the court quality to LOW on video settings and the paint for Cleveland court will be in THE RIGHT COLOR. So what happened? Isnt that supposed to be blue because Cleveland guys sent "the art" with a Blue paint??

Im telling you guys, 2K is just giving the easiest anwers just trying to make us not complain about their mistakes.

I dont support piracy, but i think some guy with advanced skill could even compare the 2 exes and find a way for us to put our nba2k11.exe just like the American one.
p.s.: i sincerely can't see how that can be acceptable by the forum rules (like editing the 2k10 exe for a better cam), and sharing a original, NOT cracked, and so blocked and protect exe could be consider piracy. I really suggest you moderators to re-think where ends modding/fixing and where starts piracy. Even though modding, using 2k10 texture on 2k11, using nba live texture on nba 2k, it's all already against copyright laws.

Don't take me wrong guys, i really just think freaking UNFAIR to pay more than a American and in the end having a significantly different and worse version of the SAME GAME!
