It's not working for me... Anyway, steam is announcing 2k11 was released!

It doesn't seem to be available to Australian users at this time (at least not at my last check) but I'm guessing it should be soon as it's definitely been
announced.

Not avaiable in my region!!!

can we trick steam into releasing it for those who encounter region problems? which region is it available at?

It's available for the US, that's for sure. I don't think you can trick it into believing you're in a region you're not, but I could be wrong.

the PAL (non-North America) release date is the 8th.

Do you get the US version when you download it from steam?
And what's the difference with a standard game out of the box? if any

I have a question about Steam. I played up to NBA Live 08 with TUP 09 but I want to play again.
I have not used Steam. I went to their site and I'm assuming it's a digital download? My laptop doesn't have a CD-ROM drive so I prefer digital version.
But do I always need that Steam software to run any games downloaded from Steam?
Do I also get the product key?
Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4 Ghz
2GB RAM
Samsung 64GB SSD
Intel GMA 4500 HD
Windows 7 Ultimate
Would this able to run NBA 2K11 on max setting? I was able to run Live 08 with TUP 09 at max setting.
How big is the game after installation on HD?
Thanks!

You have an Intel chipset, it means installing and playing 2K11 will suck for you. NBA 2K PC is a port of the Xbox360, unlike Live 08.

you will have to play it on low settings if it runs at all. it will still look better than Live 08....but just barely.

I'm guessing you'd get the local version.

Anyone know how to get the back to the initial intro which starts off with lakers bulls game ?
I have a steam version of the game and deleting settings (C:\Users\____\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K11\Saves) did not help. Maybe as soon as steam has registered that the game has been played the intro no longer is available..
