Cavs rollin, looking for playoffs

The Cavs released JR Bremer and signed Lee Nailon, who was hot a couple of years ago. Hopefully he can produce off of the bench.

The Cavs have won 7 of their last 9 and are tied with Miami and Toronto in at 26 and 36, .5 of a game behind Boston.

Against the Bucks, the Cavs won by 9. Z led all scores with 29 pts. Lebron had 24 pts 10 assists and 7 rebs. McInnis had 10 pts and 12 assists. Booz had 22 and 13. Jeff McInnis has been playing great, relieving the king from some of the pressure in the backcourt. Yall know about Booz, who is playing like a top 10pick in the draft and looking like an all-star.

so, does that mean they threw away Jumaine Jones for nothing...??

i think they should've packed Kevin Ollie's bags instead...

anyway, i hope th cavs win a trip to the playoffs!! :D

No matter how I much I dont like LJ23 and the cavs...I still think they will make the Playoffs....it IS the East...and as a team they have really come together after All-star break to play as a freakin dominant team!

Ollie isn't the scorer that Bremer is, or was supposed to be but he's a serviceable backup point guard. Bremer's game is too similar to Wagner's they needed to let him go so that Wagner could get more minutes. As for the Jones trade, it allowed the Cavs to clear some roster space for the next trade with the Celts which brought them Williams, Battie, and Brown. Hell, they even got their draft pick back!

I wouldn't have thought it would happen given the start they had, but it's looking more and more likely. Even LeBron's already proven to be better than expected in his rookie season, taking the Cavs to the playoffs would be really impressive, even in the Eastern Conference.

Yeah!
Thats right everyone better recognise the Cavs now.

Lebron is playing great, Boozer has been a monster, Mcinnis has been a plus over Miles and Big Z is dominant.

your right if they play Pacers then they can beat them even thought Ron Artest will maybe have Lebron on lock they will win that round without Lebron

the cavs are 27-36 for a whopping .429 winning %, 19 games out of first place. freakin dominant!

i'm happy and encouraged to see a team like cleveland improve. but let's take off the hype goggles for a second here. what's real amazing is that teams like washington, philly, and even atlanta have an outside shot at making the playoffs. that's how pathetic the east is. the last 4 teams that make the playoffs will only be there because of the mandated 8 team playoff format.

the cavs being in this playoff run is like jockeying for the front seat in a rosie o'donnel wet t shirt contest.

C'mon. It's the East. Plus look at the turn around. Last year Cleveland hadn't even got to their 17th win yet. 27-36 is alot better than what they were last year, for the whole season.

Lol. But there is a 4-way tie so does that mean there is a four way tie for.....

whoever the Cavs play in rnd1 if they make it, they can cause some problems. Ilgauskas and Boozer can both be forces down low. Lebron can hurt anyone however by the time the playoffs come around he could be fatigued. They have some good vets in Williams, Battie and McInnis. Looks like an alright team, except theres not much defense here. Can the Cavs get a stop when hey need it?
