Please Explain How to Call Plays on PS3

I don't have HD, so the controller guide isn't clear. How are plays called in the Elite 11 demo on PS3?

With the Elite (Hands-On Control) scheme it's B on 360, so I'm guessing it would be Circle on the PS3.

That is what it says but it doesn't seem to work when you play the finals game. It does anyway in become legendary
