NBA 2K11 MY PLAYER mode insight + Video

What are your thoughts?

pretty awesome additions IMO, but it could get stale very quickly depending on how many responses they recorded

sim to end though is awesome, hopefully they can add the ability to just sim games too.

they took a page out of the UFC undisputed 2010 book..........eventually these conferences start getting repetitive. at least in UFC after every won you'd get some options and eventually you just press fast to skip them. i hope it's deeper than that.

yeah i agree with you guys, i hope it doesn't become repetitive like i know it won't be for the first season cause during the playoffs i'm guessing there will be some extra cool commentary and such. Maybe some ron artest-esque press conferences . But imagine second or third season if someone plays that long? I'm pretty sure it might get stale. But i'm going to love it at first

Sounds great overall but I too have a feeling that the press conferences might lose their appeal after a while, depending on how many different answers have been recorded and how much they vary along with all the different scenarios that can play out during the course of a career. Simming to the end of the game is a great idea though, a must for this kind of mode in my opinion.

will they put draft combine??.. in pc??

yes, this has been mentioned before, the draft combine is on the disc, its not DLC so it will be in the PC version

It will be hard to improve at My Player.

I hope there will be nicer cyberfaces for the my player mode.
CUrrently no matter how you change/edit your face, you can diffenitely tell that this guy is just created or a Ro0kie.

Will there be press conferences after every game, only once in a while or after you played a good game and have been a key player on your team in a game and on other occasions?

I'm guessing there will be press conferences if you're player of the game.

It may get repetitive, but if you watch the NBA, they say the same thing over and over again LOL. I like this new feature, my player is gonna be cocky not beat around the bush LOL
