Any recent news about Iverson? The last I heard was Orlando or New Orleans

Orlando are doing pretty well as far as guards are concerned and I couldn't imagine AI wanting to be a 6-man, so I wouldn't expect him to sign with the Hornets.

Methinks David Kahn has been clearing up the cap space to sign Allen Iverson for the big bucks.

So Iverson and West are still in the market. 2 possible headaches.

I wonder if Iverson is humbled by now. If that's the case, I think any team could benefit from his service. Hoping to see him back with the Phillies though. He shined there and his jersey should get retired there.

Yeah I still like if he go to Philly but I think he would again demand to be the star.

To be fair, he seemed fine with his role in Philly last year.

Iverson was great for the Sixers last year. They may not have gotten Turner without him!

This is a good chance for him to develop as a player, and to make his father proud.

Don't know where to put this...

Sources: Jamal Crawford asks for trade
Crawford, who is in the final year of a contract that will pay him $10 million this season, approached the Hawks the first week of July about an extension. Hawks general manager Rick Sund has not made Crawford an offer, a source with the organization told ESPN.

Crawford is looking for a three- or four-year extension worth about the same annual amount he will make this season, sources said.

Crawford, the NBA's reigning Sixth Man of the Year, told the Hawks that if they don't want to extend his contract, they should trade him, sources said

Some of Crawford's frustration, according to sources, is that the Hawks gave All-Star Johnson a six-year, $119 million contract, but have yet to offer Crawford anything.

Though Johnson led the team in scoring during the regular season, he struggled during the Hawks' second-round sweep at the hands of the Orlando Magic. Johnson averaged 12 points a game against the Magic; Crawford led the team with a 17-point average.

We should be fair though, all these guys are well aware the lockout is coming, and they're also well aware that NBA teams are run by idiots who don't realize they could just not give massive contracts to average players. This is the time to really push these teams.

And if you watched the team just hand out $120 million to a guy who will never be the second best player on a title team and would struggle to be the third best, you have to try and see if they'll give you $30-40 million.

I'm siding with Crawford on this one. The "heeheehohohaha" was a lulz at their "franchise player" Joe Johnson's performance in the playoffs.

I think you need to watch the games instead of just look at the stats. If you looked at the stats you'd have spent the last five years wondering why anyone cares about Joe Johnson.

LOL at the Hawks. I'd rather have given Crawford a contract than giving JJ a blowjob. Oh well, the damage is done. Might as well overpay everybody.

I'll take a guess and say that ZanShadow is willing to do...

1. LeBron/Wade/Bosh
2. Oden.

Don't know why they need another back-up guard when they have Robinson and Wafer. Either way, good signing, just hope he doesn't fuck KG's mother.
