Smith can't be stopped

New York (AP) – Today we just witnessed the greatest basketball performance in the Madison Square Garden. Shelton Smith had an amazing 71 points to go along with 13 rebounds and 13 assists as the Brooklyn Ballers win 123 – 99 over the New York Knicks.

Smith had 38 points in first half of the game and everyone knew his going to have a remarkable night. “I’m just trying to get the win, that’s all that matters to me.” Smith said.

In the third quarter he just scored 13 points but he dishes out 7 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds. “His not just a scorer, he is also an all around player and he prove just that.Patrick Ewing said.

But when he sits the final 3 minutes of the third quarter the Knicks were able to cut the lead into 10 points. That’s when Smith decided to finished the game; he scored 12 points on 5 straight shots during the opening of the fourth quarter.

Wilson Chandler and Chauncey Billups each scored 19 points to lead the Knicks while Eddy Curry had 18 points and 7 rebounds.

The Ballers snapped their three game losing streaks with this win.

Notes: Smith broke two records in this game, first is the most point by a rookie and the second is the most point scored in the Garden… Smith pointed to Kurt Thomas after the game, it was rumored that the Ballers will sign the veteran…

Oh what I meant there is he scored 12 straight points early in the 4th, not 12 points in the 4th.

Would you believe that I did not control the Ballers, its CPU vs CPU. Though when he scored the 38 points in the first half I'm force to control it.
