Can someone tell me why Porter lets Mason start over Van Horn?

Imo Van Horn is better, but maybe Porter wants Michael Redd to be their scorer and whenever hes on the bench, then Van Horn can take it over from then. Just an idea, I didnt see a Bucks game yet this season so I really dont know what strategy they are using

Mason is a much much much better defender, and he is a killer in the open court, Milwaukee likes to run a fair bit, so Mason is better.

Van Horn is also their instant offense off the bench, he's averaging 19 points in Milwauke, so I don't see what the complain really is.

Van Horn might come off the bench but will still play 30-35 minutes a game, 'fgrep15' hit the nail on the head with Mason been a better defender than Horn and also the fact that Porter likes having that spark off the bench which is just what there doing. 11 points 12 rebounds in tonights win which is just what they want from him.

<<<<< New York fan sad to see Van Horn gone
