Good news! I've created a new franchise, kept all my people on both teams, and now the CPU controlled teams rosters are closer to reality than they were before. I didn't really have much of a problem trading players to get my old teams back. So I'm ready to go on again! I am two games before the trade deadline and even most of the CPU team's records are similar to before. CPU did some wacky trades. You might find Ray Allen was traded to Milwaukee for Michael Redd, and so on, but you expect stuff like that. Overall, it's pretty similar.
Don't worry this doesn't change anything about the questions for the all-star game. I made sure the answers were still valid.

Charlotte Upset By LA Clippers
Although the Clippers were the fourth worst team in the league (just 13 wins and 37 losses) they found their fourteenth win against the 34-11 Charlotte Bobcats. Chris Kaman played tight D on Tyson Chandler and played rock solid offense with Baron Davis, Ricky Davis, and Marcus Camby to win the game 103-100. Eric Gordon played great defense and came up with 6 steals to go along with his 11 points. Baron Davis unsurprisingly finished with 40 points and 13 assists while Kaman and Camby combined for 27 rebounds. The Bobcats played tenaciously but could not find their game today. Stephen Jackson was the top performer in Charlotte, but only scored 19. (Richardson scored 17, and Herrmann and Wallace had 14 each.) Tyson Chandler couldn't get his offense going, because wherever he went, Chris Kaman was always in his face. Raymond Felton failed to connect on a single shot but still put up his usual 10 assists and 4 steals. Walter Herrmann was an unexpected presence on the boards although Marcus Camby was guarding him closely, Herrmann managed 14 boards and 14 points. Charlotte seemed to regain their usual game late in the 4th, but it was too late: they ended the game with an 11-0 run, but still found themselves one outside shot short of tying it up. It never happened. Derrick Brown was wide open, but missed the three. Camby caught the rebound and held the ball until time expired. Brown would be traded the next day, in spite of his best performance of the season with 12 points and 6 rebounds.

LAC: 25 | 51 | 77 | 103
CHA: 29 | 43 | 79 | 100

Top Performers:
Baron Davis: 40 points, 13 assists, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, 0 blocks.
Stephen Jackson: 19 points, 1 assist, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, 4 blocks.

Charlotte Trades Brown for Morrow
Charlotte and Golden State came to an agreement over the promising rookie Derrick Brown. Charlotte drafted Brown 37th overall in 2009, but showed little sign of enjoying Charlotte's team. He didn't enjoy playing behind Boris Diaw, Walter Herrmann, Gerald Wallace, or Stephen Jackson, and getting very few minutes. After expressing interest in joining Minnesota, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Golden State, and Sacramento, five teams where he would get serious playing time, Charlotte immediately called up Golden State and asked for a trade between Brown and super-sharp-shooter Anthony Morrow. This is Morrow's second stint in Charlotte this season. Morrow was wary when agreeing, but was very pleased to hear he would be an active player. (Golden State used him as a reserve) After scrimmaging with the team for a couple days, he announced to the team he would make certain he would average 10 ppg. Derrick Brown scored 11 in his first game in Golden State against Oklahoma City. He says he enjoys it.

Anthony Morrow Re-Debuts In Charlotte With A Bang
After trading Derrick Brown for Anthony Morrow, the Bobcats got immediate results. They visited the Boston Celtics. The 39-16 Celtics were completely bewildered to find themselves 16 points down at half, partially due to a certain newcomer. Anthony Morrow. Anthony Morrow racked up 26 points on 8-10 shooting from outside and he hit one inside shot throughout his 14 minutes in the game. Ray Allen, who had long since left Boston, had been newly replaced with a new sharpshooter: Micheal Redd. He and Paul Pierce combined for more than half of Boston's 122 points, each with 34 points. Boston found themselves down all along, but wound up losing by 11.

BOS: 34 | 54 | 94 | 122
CHA: 40 | 70 | 99 | 133

Top Performers:
Paul Pierce: 34 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 4 blocks
Jason Richardson: 44 points, 11 assists, 1 rebound, 2 steals, 4 blocks

Other notable figures:
-Anthony Morrow: first game for Charlotte since November: 26 points, 4 assists
-Rajon Rondo: 18 points, 18 assists
-Tyson Chandler: 2 points, 21 rebounds
-Rasheed Wallace: 0 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks, 5 assists, 6 steals

The King Does His Thing as Charlotte is Murdered By Cleveland
If you're playing against LeBron James, pretty much anything is possible. This was clearly possible as LeBron James (71 points) and Mo Williams (30 points) combined for 101 points, while it took the combined efforts of Jason Richardson (32), Walter Herrmann (20), Tyson Chandler (11), Gerald Wallace (11), Boris Diaw (11), Anthony Morrow (9), Stephen Jackson (6), Desagana Diop (4), Acie Law (3), and Raymond Felton (2) just to surpass that number only slightly. LeBron and Mo just broke through Charlotte's strong defense every time. It looked like shooting practice for Mo and dunking practice for LeBron. It is notable to mention that two other Cavaliers also scored double-digits: Anthony Parker (11) and Zydrunas Ilgauskas (10).

CLE: 41 | 80 | 109 | 147
CHA: 22 | 53 | 78 | 109

Top Performers:
LeBron James: 71 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks
Jason Richardson: 32 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 5 blocks

I think domination sums it up enough.

Oklahoma Can't Stand Up To The Bobcats
Following a blowout from the Cavaliers, the Bobcats had pretty low morale. It showed in the first quarter where Kevin Durant had 16 points, in contrast to Jason Richardson and Gerald Wallace's combined 5. The rest of the game both sides warred away. Charlotte took the lead and never gave it back. Although his team lost, Kevin Durant won the Game MVP for his outstanding 48 point, 17 rebound, 14 assist, triple-double.

OKC: 33 | 53 | 80 | 113
CHA: 19 | 53 | 90 | 124

Top Performers:
Kevin Durant: 48 points, 17 rebounds, 14 assists, 3 steals, 1 block
Raymond Felton: 16 points, 4 rebounds, 14 assists, 2 steals, 1 block

Kevin Garnett's Dunk Decides The All-Star Match
Kevin Garnett's dunk off an offensive rebound won the All-Star Match for the East with only a fraction of a second left to make the final score 204-202. Both the East and the West played phenomenally. Jason Richardson was the East's star and Steve Nash was the West's star, scoring 52 and 67, respectively. Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki scored 40 and 38 for the West while the East saw Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James (sound familiar?) score in the 20s, along with Paul Pierce. Dirk Nowitzki was the game's biggest rebounder with 18 rebounds, but the East had four players with 10 or more rebounds: Dwight Howard (15), Chris Bosh, Jermaine O'Neal and Kevin Garnett (10 each). LeBron James walked away with the MVP Award of the Game after an amazing quadruple-double in which he missed a quintuple double by only 2 rebounds. His most notable stat was that he had 23 points and 24 assists.

Allen Iverson, Jason Kidd, Elton Brand, and Mo Williams did not play although they were on the roster. Greg Oden played 2 minutes but all he got was a steal. Amare' Stoudamire was supposed to play but due to an ACL injury that has been lingering since early December, he hasn't played in 24 games. The West missed his presence but had no problem starting Dirk Nowitzki - look at what Dirk did! Elton Brand was disappointed that he didn't play because he was hoping to represent his last-place 76ers at the game. Rudy Gay was lucky to play because he had just recovered from a sprained wrist the week before. He scored 6 points and grabbed two rebounds.

Overall, it was a great all-star match, due to the constant lead changes, fast break dunks and ridiculous three-point shots being made. Ultimately, its fate was determined by KG, who grabbed his only offensive rebound at the right time and jammed it in for two with less than a second remaining. The East won 204-202- no thanks to Steve Nash's 67 points.
