NCAA BASKETBALL DYNASTY MODE COMPARED TO LIVE

Does anyone think that NCAA Basketball 10 dynasty mode is the biggest joke ever? The stats, polls, games, are all so unrealistec. I mean i love the game but i feel it should just be played online.

Compared to Live it needs a lot of work, NBA live dynasty mode needs a lot of work too but NCAA's is horrible, flat out just bad.

I haven't played NCAA Basketball 10 (it's not released in Australia and since the 360 has regional restrictions, I can't import it) but if its Dynasty is worse than NBA Live 10's then it must really be a disappointment, as Live's Dynasty Mode has fallen into disrepair over the last couple of instalments.

Yes it is much worse, the game is all about 3 point shooting, and you cant shoot like you do against the computer like in dynasty mode so tht makes the gameplay much worse.

Plus everything about the dynasty mode is horrible, recruiting is so easy, and the stats and everything just does not make sense.

I still wish they were making it next year though.

The gameplay is why I didn't import the game into Australia, like I had with 2k's College Hoops 2k7 & 2k8. After being hyped to play the demo, it was very disappointing & not very sim at all. Like you said, more of a multi-player game, not something you want to play against the computer for too long.

I sometimes wonder if there isn't a bit too much focus on online/multiplayer. That's important of course because there are a lot of people playing online, it can be a fun experience and there's a lot of cool stuff you can do, but the single player experience is important too. A good game is one that is well-rounded and delivers in all aspects.

I agree, I feel like ever since online play came into video games a few years ago now, they focus on that aspect of the game, when its original single player roots like dynasty mode are getting the shaft and not as much attention anymore when they develop games.

I suppose some of it's simply progress, there's a lot that can be done with online as I said before and it's important that a game with online capabilities provides a fun online experience. But again, it's all about having a well-rounded product that delivers in all areas.
