To be honest I don't see Holland beating Spain. Germany were a much better team than Holland and we saw how little of the ball the Spanish allowed them.

If Spain can shut down Sneijder then I think they will win. Robben is good but he is more predictable than the jokes on Two and a Half Men.
He's always cutting inside onto his left foot. Van Persie hasn't been playing very well so far either.

I really hope Del Bosque picks Torres to start. I think he will seeing as Holland aren't quite the same attacking threat as Germany.

I'd love either team to win it, but I just can't go past Spain. Maybe 2-1.

I severly blame the coach for that van Bronckhorst substitution, that was ridiculous, you don't take out one of the most dependable player in their line-up (who saved their team couple times before, e.g. Iniesta breaktrough) to make room for whoever replaced him. It's like putting Jordan Farmar in for Bryant in the last minute of the NBA Finals Game 7. The referee indeed did a crap job before the goal not whistling the corner. The goal was purely Braafheid's fault, he didn't seem to have a clue what he's supposed to do, left wing was wide open, when he sat in the middle doing nothing.

Both Iniesta and Robben are floppers, they deserve each other. Hated Robben already before, but started to dislike Iniesta a lot more thanks to this.

What a fucking disgrace of a game.
Not that the Dutch necessarily deserved to win, their level of aggression was completely misdirected (they're lucky they didn't get a red with the kick in the chest thing) and Robben missed twice the unmissable (especially the 1st time), but the Spaniards made their way to the trophy by flopping like Italians and playing dirty...Once again, the refereeing was pathetic. On the goal, it shouldn't have been Spain's ball in the first place, it should have been a corner kick for the Dutch after Sneijder's kick clearly touched a Spanish defender.
Perfect conclusion to 3 weeks of horrible decisions by the referees.

And they did.

Spain deserved to win it. They were the only team that showed up to play football. Holland were very defensive and didn't take their chances.
Terrible to see Torres get injured near the end. I hope it isn't serious.
