It's justified.

Hey, how did you do that? And it could just have been a typo by Badger, maybe it couldn't. Stop jumping on other people's dicks about things that don't concern you.

Badger, where did you get the percentages?

Messi will score his only goal at 88th on the Final. As Maradona said, "Messi will score when we need him to." With him, Tevez, Higuain, Palermo, Milito, Agüero, that's what I call firepower. Even the defenders get to score (both Heinze, who had that camera collision  and Demichelis).

Argentina is a very strong team this WC. I hope they get revenge from 2006 and give Germany what they deserve.

That goal was very similar to the one Japan scored against Australia in 2006. :?

Poor goalkeeping. Dutch are confident now. (Y)

Brazil were pathetic after they went behind. They were lucky to finish with 10 men. Even before the 2nd dutch goal Bastos should have gotten a 2nd yellow.

Holland should make the Final now. (Y)

40 minutes until X's prediction comes true: Ghana on the semis! :applaud:

I still think Uruguay can come from behind and win, but my pred is Ghana - Netherlands and Argentina - Paraguay on the semis. I'm also confident Paraguay can post the biggest upset yet.

Somehow my prediction went pear-shaped the minute the Uruguayan committed a professional foul & Gyan missed a spot kick to win the game (N)

At least my prediction of Dutch over Spain in Final is still going strong, as is my wager on Dutch that I made before the tournament. For the World Cup I am up about $10 so far thanks to some New Zealand draws

Damn.. I feel sooo bad for Ghana and Gyan. Extremely disappointing.. That "move' by Suarez was not exactly sportsmanlike.

Still, an entertaining game, but a disappointing ending.

Do you remember, what was the coefficient of Holland's taking the cup before the tournament?

That move by Suarez was a risky move, but if you don't risk, you don't win.

Not 100% sure what you mean, but they were 11-1. After beating Brazil they are now 13-4 (3.25-1).

How was it risky? If he doesn't (cheat) do it, Ghana wins. Either cheat or go home. He chose to cheat. As simple as that.

Are you fucking kidding me? Lakers win the Championship and the Netherlands beat Brazil? Can you say "fuck yeah!"?

On to beat Uruguay!! W00t, summer is turning out to be a good, good one.

IMO, it's more a resource than a cheat... you can always use your hand to cut the other team's attack... it was a risk because, if Gyan made that last penalty, it was go home too... luckily for him it all went his way. In Uruguay he's now a "hero", just as Abreu and his Zidanesque penalty.

It was risky in giving Ghana the game-winning penalty. If you were in that situation, tell me you would do that too? You are living a dream, representing your country, cheat or go home.

That's what I meant. Thanks.

Again, how was it risky? It's either to conceve a goal and you're out, or you still have a tiny chance of staying in competition by cheating and forcing Ghana to take a penalty instead of a certain goal. If he hadn't cheated, Ghana would have scored for sure. No risk at all.
