Mike D'Antoni used his magic shocking the league leading the Knicks to the playoffs behind a 47-35 record.

In the first round of the playoffs the knicks met old enemy's the Miami Heat WINNING the match up in 6 games lead by David Lee's 22ppg 14rpg and Rookie Toney Douglas who up'ed his scoring from 8 points to 18 !
Chris Bosh and the Toronto Raptors were next in line but it was the end to the fairytale losing in 7 games to star FA Chris Bosh's 28ppg 15rpg
The Raptors then went on to beat the Cavs sending Lebron James home and setting themselves up for finals meeting with the Spurs , 6 games later it was all over and they were left without a ring.
