Here's a sweet idea to think about, though EA probably isn't gonna have the technology to do it for some time yet.

Full text to speech recognition. An engine that creates the play-by-play from text files. Imagine having any player's name that you created, spoken by the game. Imagine being able to create/edit your own commentary files...complete with keywords that point to various statitstics from the current game, current season...you name it.

With 3000 mHz processors that don't have to worry about sound or graphics, this doesn't sound that farfetched to me.

Being able to create/play a game from a box score would be nice to. Call it scenario mode or something. Think you can rally the Jazz from 15 pts behind to beat the Rockets and go to the finals? Think you can outduel Dominique Wilkins and go 10-11 in the fourth like Larry Bird? Think you can shut down a flu-ridden Jordan and keep him from getting 35 in game 5 of the finals? Create (or recreate) any scenario you wish...and play it.

I'd buy that game.

hey, how about adding the jump stop move to the freestyle controls? instead of one or two layups where the player jumpstops, add the ability to jump stop at one's will, allowing for much more moves. Players shoot jumpers off of jump stops too.

Add all the textures to the create a player screen, I've been searching too long for how to add dreads to my created players

BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE, ADD A COMPREHENSIVE CREATE A PLAY FEATURE. IT WILL AT LEAST TRIPLE THE GAMES REPLAY VALUE, AND OLD PLAYERS/COACHES WOULD LOVE TO RUN THEIR OWN PLAYS. THE PLAYS DON'T HAVE 2 BE SUPER COMPLEX (IE. MOTION READS), JUST AS FUNCTIONAL AS THE OTHER SETS (BUT HAVE SOME CONTINUITY AS AN OPTION, IE 5 DOESN'T HAVE TO BE AT THE 5 SPOT, HE AND THE 4 CAN SWITCH PLACES AND THE PLAY STILL RUN). DEFENSIVELY AS WELL, MAN, ZONE, AND JUNK ZONE VARIATIONS SHOULD BE CREATED (IE 1/2 COURT MAN, TRAP ON THE BASELINE & CORNERS, OR PURE 1-3-1 ZONE, SINCE THERE'S MORE THAN JUST THAT BASIC 1-2-2 ZONE IN THE NBA)

1.Show players arriving in the building(arena)
2.Edit stadium floors,lights,etc.
3.Show players checking into the game(at the scorers table)
4.Before the game starts have the commentators talk about your team aswell as the cpu team.About weaknesses,strengths,key players,streaks for players,coaches,what the key to winning for a team will be,comparision,etc.etc.
5.During the tip.Pull up team leaders,ex. Vince Carter leads the rapters in scoring,antonio davis leads in rebounds and alvin williams leads in assists.(you know somthin like dat)
6.Crowd holding up signs
7.Coach and Player technical fouls and ejections.
8.Suspensions and Fines
9.Fighting.If your player goes up strong and is knocked down hard.Have him hop up and punch the player that knocked him down.
10.user injuries at least every game..(like madden.Let there b an option.For more or less.Less would b how it is now and more would b one at least every game for the USER and CPU each.)
11.On injuries:Show players limping up court,collapsing,singaling for the trainer to come out,auto timeout,.Also,On injury's if they land awkward(like on a dunk or step on someones foot)theyre..Injured..
12.Injury report by one of the ladies.
13.When a player is injured give people the option to play the player.(so if your created player has a back injury and is out for a long time you have the option to dress him so you can finish the playoff.And during a game when you playing with a player that is injured for a long time,they show your player laying down getting iced down)
14.If you dont wanna play your player thats out for awhile and let him heal before playoff time or something have him on the bench shown in street gear.
15.During halftime:Have interviews with players.Go into the locker room and hear what the coach is telling his players.
16.Before halftime is up:Have commentators tell what went wrong for a team and why there down.Tell about keyplayers.
17.In fourth quarter:Have commentators talk about records.ex.Celtics:12-0(none of my examples are real) when up by 4 at the start of the fourth quarter.
18.At the end of the game:Highlights,key plays..Commentators speak about player of the game,look in on current games(halftime and at the end of the game)..Post game interview with coaches and players.Speak about a teams up coming scheduale..
ex.Boston go back home after a 6 game road trip,which they were 5-1.(something like that)
19.When a team arrives home,have crowd really excited.And anticipate every shot,and big basket.
20.During timeouts-show look in's on games,go into coach huddle and hear what the coach is saying to the players.
21.Have whole coaching staff on the bench.
22.In the beggining of the season hand out championship rings.
23.Get Jason Kidd to do the alley oops(no look alley oops 2)
24.Get Jason Williams who plays for the grizzlies to do passes.Guys remember his fancy passes when he was on sacramento.(no look passes,behind the back passes,between the leg passes,touch passes.spit like dat.)
25.Player styles(mj:with his fade,kobe:very smooth with stuff,VC and Pierce:Always calling for the ball in the post.,etc.etc.)

4.Teams on west have cow-bells and theyre shaking them during an away teams shots(mostly during free throw shots)
5.When the championship is won:Have interviews of the winners and the losers,champaign poppin in locker room,and trophy presentation
