If we're headed for a Lakers/Celtics Finals then I think that will at least be a competitive and entertaining end to the postseason, if the Conference Finals aren't destined to run much longer.

Watching the sloppy officiating in Game 5 of Lakers/Suns, I'd at least have to rank the referees higher on the list. If there's one thing I like about the ESPN/ABC crew, it's that they'll call out the referees on bad calls. Marv and Doug tend to play it safer on TNT broadcasts.

As for the ESPN crews, yeah I definitely felt they're being safe. Stern must have put some pressures on them... possibly.

ESPN or TNT? As I said, the ESPN crew is pretty willing to criticise bad calls. The TNT guys shies away from that.
