well personally i already eat what i consider a good diet if.......... i stopped drinking soda. the food part i think is fine. lots of fruits and veggies and meats. the pasta probably not the best for me if i sat around but i love me some pasta. i dont tend to eat the cereals and shit mainly cause they taste really bad. i guess my cost statement was mostly geared towards the soda. main reason i drink it is because it is cheaper than other drinks i would want (orange, grapefruit, cranberry juice...)

wtf benji giving health & diet advice! wut's next- pictures of his physique?!

Cutting out sugar is hard. good luck with that. my guess is the average guy doesn't start thinking about cutting sugar out of their diet until they are married lol. so basically you spend almost your entire life up until then addicted to a high sugar filled diet. personally speaking- things like high fructose corn syrup, sodium nitrate/nitrate, enriched white flour, etc i didn't think about up until a few years ago when my dad was diagnosed with diabetes. i've quit smoking but still i have moments of weaknesses to soda every so often.. nevermind beer & liquor haha....

i think in the movie "requiem for a dream", the director made the actors give up sugar for a few weeks to help them understand what it's like to deal with an addiction. i remember Marlon Wayans saying how difficult it was. anyway...

kudos to these professional athletes for their commitment to dieting and physical fitness. Jordan was still a great player after 30yrs old mostly because of workout regime during, before, and after the nba season... and genetics. i forget which book mentioned he had one of the most ridiculously low body fat %'s... even for an athlete. the same book mentioned how Jordan's , in his early nba years, idea of an offseason program was pickup basketball and mcdonalds. lol

i'm curious to see if Bryant can sustain his level of play like Jordan did. He started his NBA career at a younger age and has sustained more injuries then Jordan. Also Jordan had the "advantage" of only having one major injury. plus it occurred when he was only in his 2nd year in the association

Cranberry Juice?? you having your period or UTI??!!

Is "eat what you want, but it's good to eat lots of different things and not too much" really health/diet advice? All I was noting was the ease of cutting down on sugar. Almost all of what I know regarding health, diet and nutrition stems from merely what I know about food and cooking. I can't tell you much of anything about exercise, pills and supplements to take, disgusting shakes to concoct and drink, how to best make YouTube videos that you think are showing off how amazing you are but disgust 99% of the population, etc.

Nothing wrong with cranberry juice (or grapefruit juice for that matter) especially since it mixes well with vodka.

There's also water, tea, coffee (home-brewed).

I know! I was surprised and impressed at what he wrote. Before, I thought he was a fat black chef.

Seeing all these Steve Nash Vitamin Water commercials is interesting considering how much sugar is in it.

$1.99 for that shitty looking bottled vitamin water? Even with Nash advertising it, no thanks. When it was on sale at $1.00, I drank it couple times, but I am back to my routine drink, 'Arizona'.

It's pretty much $1 all the time down here where we have actual money. (I think it's $1.50 normal, but at least two of the five grocery stores in the town have it for $1 at all times.)

Perhaps it's all part of a master plan. Get everyone hooked on it while he maintains a sugar-free diet and stays one step ahead.
I just got finished watching espn, and the guy i forgot his name but he's one of the guys on pti and he said that Steve Nash cut sugar out of his diet, to me that's amazing, how can someone do that?
Because there is no sugar anymore. It's all high-fructose corn syrup instead.
