Me neither. That's why I have the 1-2 punch of Wade-Granger, and Wall if they are cold. :D

I cant see a situation where both Wade and Granger will go cold

Martti. wrote:Neither of you are treating Wade like he should be. He's like a role player for both of you. At least it looks like that right now. :P

He's not a role player! He's my leading scorer and number 1 option on offense!

Lamrock wrote:Derrick Rose isn't even that good. He is, and likely always will be the most overrated player in the league. Anyway, still hate the team, but love the dynasty. Just noticed how great your pics look.

I'll ignore the jab at Rose and thank the comments (Y) NBA 2K10 on Max looks great

Thanks, i received it

Note: Want some feedback on whether you guys think the team is too stacked and unrealistic? after playing a lot of games i am starting to lose the interest and getting the sense that playing a team that participates in the 2010 sweepstakes and acquiring a superstar is kinda cheating, in a way :? Let me know, i am putting this on on hiatus anyways. Just not in the dynasty mood at the moment, as Lamrock calls it? Appreciate any feedback

Actually, your Nets was pretty stacked too and you kept that going. I think getting Josh Smith kind of what made it too stacked. You had Sean Williams in your Nets, might as well had Taj Gibson as a regular starter in this.

That's the problem, I am not enjoying the games as much now since everything is so easy, even if i adjust sliders in the cpu's favor (while keeping the realistic stats)

I should've hey? But I also think D-Wade is one of the biggest reasons why i am not into this as much anymore, it's too easy to score with him, just crossover, drive and finish or do a pull-up

Yes, this isnt an April Fool from me.

I'll see how it pans out, have like 2 months played ready for recapping, but just not feeling it atm :? I do hope that interest may peek up again as i hate to end dynasties/associations prematurely, but if I can't get into it i might as well start a new one, when i have a good one formulated (Y)

man! that's the pressure about getting too ahead of recaps, especially if you're recapping game-to-game; all those back-logged games start to feel well... like WORK. fortunately, there is a simple solution - just DON'T DO THEM.

don't worry about breaking your dynasty flow; you're doing that by NOT recapping already. even if you've done each game so far with previews, behind-the-scenes chapters, team analysis and all the fancy stuff (which Thierry loves :P ) you CAN simply make your dynasty instantly exciting to you again and stress-free by just summarizing the past few months in a paragraph or two just to get everyone caught up - it's totally fine!

don't feel restricted. don't feel obligated to recap games you can't hardly even remember let alone feel you have to post about it in depth - you aint getting paid for it after all! (unless you are, then it IS your job so you might as well do it right); but just continuing your dynasty and seeing things progress (or decline) is the important thing man ;)

and if you still aint feelin' the team? nuke it. folks would rather follow a story that you're geeked up about anyway

I agree with Clutch in everything. (Y) I'm in love with the small details... I tried to recap all 1230 games once, remember? I'm really not proud of that.

Clutch, Thierry., Thanks for the feedback, it's not really an obligation I am feeling though. I normally love to write articles, game recaps (my favorite subject behind economics IS English after-all...) but recently just not feeling it. The gaming process is the main problem. I am losing the interest with this roster, even though the Bulls are my all time favorite. As i've stated before, I'll give it a while and see if interest peaks again (Y)

EDIT: A bit off topic, has anyone on the PC version been able to send their box scores to the 2K blog? mine has been failing to do so thus far.

EDIT: I am going to give it another try, see if interest picks up while i do the recaps still.

Wade drops 31 in return to Miami, Outplays John Salmons in Bulls victory

Image

Miami, FL - Dwayne Wade experienced the perfect return that he had always wished for.

In his first return to Miami after changing teams via Free Agency to join his hometown team Chicago Bulls, Dwyane Wade dropped 31 points alongside 6 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 steals en-route to a 95-85 Chicago victory after receiving a standing ovation from the sold-out crowd of 19,572 at the American Airlines Center upon the starting lineup intros.

Wade, who started his career and played 7 seasons for the Miami Heat; in which he captured a NBA Championship and was awarded the Finals MVP back in 2006, exchanged handshakes and embraces with his former coaches, general manager and former coach Pat Riley, as well as owner Micky Arison prior to tip off.

"This is my home away from home" said Wade "I am thankful for the organization and the city for warmly embracing me back here, even when i changed teams. This is a great place to play in."

Wade had plenty of help in the form of Derrick Rose as the All-Star guard dropped in 19 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds in the win, shooting a very efficient 8 for 13 from the field.

The Heat were led by former Bull John Salmons, who had 21 points and 6 assists against his former team.

"Always fun to play against them" Salmons said after the game "just unfortunate that we couldn't come away with the W tonight"

Salmons was traded by the Bulls to Milwaukee in a cap-relief move before signing with the Heat this past summer. In his lone season in Chicago, he helped lead the Bulls to a playoff appearance and an epic, 7 game series with the then defending champions Boston Celtics in the opening round that featured numerous overtimes.

Michael Beasley added 17 points and 6 boards, while Miami's prized offseason addition Carlos Boozer was limited to just 6 points and 11 rebounds by Chicago's Josh Smith. Jermaine O'Neal, likewise, had a quiet night offensively, as he finished with 4 points from 2 for 5 shooting. He did, however, racked up 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the losing effort.

The Game was close until Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade sparked a 10-2 Chicago run in the third quarter that led to a 8 point Bulls lead going into the fourth. Chicago outscored Miami 26-19 in the third after leading by just 1 at the half.

"They went on a little run and took the momentum away from us" Heat coach Erik Spoelstra stated "D-Wade was their offensive spark, we just couldn't contain him, or Rose for that matter. They are a great duo"

Chicago is now 3-0 to start the season.

To be fair, they traded Salmons for Wade, and used their cap space on Boozer (Y)

Wade is a beast, great that his production hasn't dropped. Turner is also doing well off the bench.

I think Wade is having a career year. 33 points is just monstrous. Even Turner is getting some scoring in.
