Just for hating the C's doesnt mean that all their players are washed up. I honestly believe Pierce cared a little bit more than anyone else in the contest. Cook/Galinari were horrid. Frye was alright. Chauncey kinda looked like he was phoning it in, curry looked like a rookie in his 1st one. pretty simple to figure out

not that, but Pierce doesn't really have a release that is suitable for the 3 point contest (lots of shots in 1 minute, his is kinda slow...), so i'd though someone like Curry would have won....

You know theres a thing called practice where you can have a contest shot thats not the same as your game shot right?

I mean..Lets say im shooting a FT...one is i was fouled situation: one is an in game shot. On the foul situation, there's an arc, follow through, and concentration. In game? Im putting it up and getting the fuck out of there to protect against the break (just in case)...often times altering with a quicker release. They both go in though. Its not that unfeasible

Can't help but admire the way he made sure to get in a boast about being one of the best shooters of all-time. If nothing else, he owns the bragging rights in the three point shootout for the moment. Frye did a little better than I thought he would, I had a feeling he'd end up with a single digit score despite the way he's been knocking down threes so far this season.

Chauncey fizzled like I thought he would and Gallo shot bad like I did not anticipate. Every time I see that guy shoot in-game he is wet, but he just didn't have a rhythm tonight.

I'm not disappointed that PP won the shoot-out, but I wish Curry would have gotten it. He was so lights out in that first round, if he could have hit a couple more balls on that second to last rack he definitely could have gotten past Pierce.

Damn it. I was rooting for Stephen Curry to win this. The last person I expected/wanted to win was Pierce. Part of that reason is because I dont like Celtics' players but that's completely biased.

Curry looked like he'd take it after the first two racks but the middle rack killed him and put too much pressure on the final two. A perfect final rack would've resulted in a tiebreaker, but the way his shot was wavering through the final two racks that just wasn't going to happen.

If you watch anything from this year's dunk contest, just watch the highlights (and I use the term loosely) or a recap. It's not worth sitting through the whole thing as it plays out.

At least check out DeRozan's windmill off the side of the backboard. Quite literally a one-dunk contest.
