Oh man, that paragraph with Sheed was a killer, I LOVE his inclusion into the story now, it cracked me up. Oh, and a lot of people might like Chara a little better with your last article, but man KD is still a douche! Love your writing Sit, I'm going to start reading through your ALIB1 and then finish up with the rest of ALIB2 that I haven't read yet. :)

Shit is hitting the fan with Ty though, poor guy. :(

Edit: Just looked at the first post, only 1 more chapter before you're ending the story?! :(

The story isn't as encapsulating as the feature news articles

2,000 & 40,000 puts you in diamond category, which you're about to hit. The ultimate is the platinum category. Keep plugging away

The bus driver bound and gagged in the backseat... Sheed's hilarious... good luck in the playoffs man.

Consider my co-association proposal.

Rasheed sure has given you more stuff to add to this amazing story. :P
As I don't know, who are on the Clippers in this, I can't predict how easy it will be.

The best co-association would probably be Sit and The X. If it lasts it would be like a 100 pages.

KD allowing Bell to take the last shot. That is almost unselfish, isnt it? I hope you dont try to boost KD's rep. He's a dumbass and he better does not yell at me for a second time. Or he will get crossed over ;)

1. Your team got owned by Durant. Check the game recap coming soon.

2. Ty is a wreck... walking time bomb. :P

3. KD is unselfish with the players he likes... I think you should be able to sense who he is good mates with on the team.

4. Good luck crossing him over... he will probably trip you.

If anyone took any notice, that was only Chapter 28 a few weeks ago... so no true indication of whether this is ending at 30 or not.

Tell me what you think of ALIB 1 when you're done. :)

The story is at a boring point. Some of the chapters are better than others I must admit but this chapter is only preparing for a possible future one...

Also, DIAMOND catergory sounds good. 2500, 45k should be platinum and 3000, 50k should be double platinum

Then again, I'm not in this for the stats so let's drop it for now. :)

There's an NLSCer on the Clippers. He can reveal himself.

And Sit/X association could happen for locality reasons... I could stay at his place for 28 days and we could have like a 28 day association... getting through 20-25 years... 1 season + playoffs per day. Cept I think his wife would make me leave cause I'd make X stay at home from work... the ultimate association

All the info bout Clippers and other playoff teams is coming soon. Just reminding everyone that Amare Stoudamire now plays for them. As well as ROY second place candidate Ray Lliach.

I hope everyone isn't finding the chapters too boring. :( I struggled to put 29 together.

The story so far

Reshawn Tyson To Miss 6 Weeks

Apr 1, 2011

SEATTLE (AP) – Early indications are that Reshawn Tyson is likely to miss up to 6 weeks due to a strained groin injury sustained during a Seattle-Orlando game last week. Tyson was hurt after being fouled by Orlando's Dwight Howard. The NBA launched an investigation into the incident and cleared Howard of any wrong-doing. Tyson has been a major catalyst for Seattle who battled from the bottom of the Western Conference to reach the playoffs in the past few months. Tyson became a starter for George Karl in February, which has seen his scoring average rise to 16.0 ppg; good for second on the team.

All-Star Kevin Durant is confident however that the team will be able to cover Tyson, "Raja (Bell) is as good or maybe a better player than Tyson. He will step into the starting role fine." Bell, a Summer signing and started the season as the starting SG was happy to be back in the role, "I only went to the bench to provide leadership. I'm a better player than him but I guess they want to develop him. It will be good to start again."

League May Suspend Tyson

Apr 6, 2011

SEATTLE (AP) – Injured SG Reshawn Tyson may face disciplinary action after an altercation with fans last night at Madison Square Garden. Tyson was engaged in a verbal spat with fans during a timeout near the tunnel leading to the locker rooms. It was alleged that he was shouting profanities and using obscene gestures to make a point. It was also alleged that he punched a middle aged man, however the man decided against laying charges.

Tyson was unable to be reached for comment.

Seattle Looking Strong After Third Straight Win

Apr 11, 2011

SEATTLE(AP) – Kevin Durant flexed his muscles and did his trademark 'double heart tap' into the camera whilst shouting, "Seattle Stealth - my team baby!". It's becoming a bit of a post-game ritual for the All-Star, an antic that has become a hit with NBA fans. The Seattle Stealth, meanwhile, look as strong as ever coming off three straight wins and gearing up for the playoffs.

Their most recent win, against the playoff bound Atlanta Hawks, was by 20 points and Durant dominated with 37 points. Even without starting SG Reshawn Tyson and a real second scoring threat, Seattle cruised as Durant did the job of two players. Coach George Karl praised his All-Star SF, "Kevin is really proving how much of a leader he is. He's a one of a kind player and it's great to see him show his talents on the court. He's single handily led us to the playoffs!"

Jason Kidd Injured

Apr 13, 2011

SEATTLE (AP) – A 122-108 drubbing from the Miami Heat was not the only thing on minds of the Seattle Stealth players as their captain Jason Kidd succumbed to a strained Achilles injury. He is listed as day-to-day but many believe that the veteran will start on the bench in the side's final game of the season against the Toronto Raptors. If the team wins, they will most likely avoid a first round match up against the New Orleans Hornets.

Kidd's assists average also dipped below 10 for the first time since the 2007-08 season.

I fell behind in this in September, but I've played catch-up, and I do believe I've read every word you've churned out so far. And just to think that Will Sit was mopping up the floors at a 7-11, then the car crash in Atlanta, then to Chara, Akonnor, and Reshawn Tyson. (Oh, and Durant. :D I think what you've really accomplished here is make everyone hate Durant.) No, there's no fancy graphics to be found, but this is the GOAT right here. :applaud:

Bell Hits Winning Triple In Season Finale

Preview | Box Score | Recap

Image
Off-season signing Raja Bell scores with 1.5 seconds left

14 Apr, 2011

SEATTLE (AP) – In the regular season finale, Seattle fell behind early but gave a rousing fourth quarter performance to come back and win an exciting game in front of their loyal fans. “That was the most exciting game I’ve been in this season,” Kevin Durant stated after the game, “We never gave up even when they were up by 12 or 14 with about three minutes left. We never really got ahead until Raja’s (Bell) three.”

The Stealth put in a tremendous effort on defense and was led by the NBA’s leading scorer Durant on offense. Head Coach George Karl was thoroughly impressed with his side leading into the playoffs, “With two of my main guys injured, it was a big statement to come back and win against the Raptors in our building. The fans were right behind the team and boy do they look ready for the playoffs to begin!”

With Sebastian Telfair and Raja Bell filling in for the injured Jason Kidd and Reshawn Tyson; Seattle looked out of sorts and allowed the Raptors to get an early 12 point lead. The Stealth, courtesy of Durant’s 15 first quarter points, reeled the Raptors back in. Toronto led for much of the game by double digits and looked comfortably ahead.

There were eight Raptors in double figures. Second year guard Terrell Hicks led the team with 23 points, Chris Bosh added 15, Etan Thomas scored 12, and point guards Jose Calderon and Chris Hova had 11 apiece.

Durant was outstanding and all but sealed his second straight season as the NBA’s leading scorer with a 45 point effort. He also added 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and an important block. Andrew Bogut added 18 points and 6 rebounds, Rasheed Wallace chipped in 11 points from off the bench, while Kidd and Telfair combined for 13 assists. However, it was Raja Bell who provided the biggest shot of the night.

Bell was signed in the offseason with an eye towards spreading the court with his shooting. Although he had missed three prior long range attempts, the veteran SG did not hesitate to pull the trigger. “I felt very confident,” Bell proclaimed afterwards, “It was a great look. It felt good when it left my hand.” Bell was starting in place of Reshawn Tyson and Coach Karl is hoping that Bell continues to deliver solid performances like last night’s. Karl stated, “He doesn’t need to score 20 a game, we just want him to nail these big shots. That’s a big reason why he’s here. We’ve never had a great shooter play with Kevin and Jason. Adam Morrison was great but Raja is a cut above.”

Toronto led by as much as 16 points in the fourth quarter and it was not until there was less than 4 minutes left in the quarter that Durant decided to try and salvage a win. “It got to the point where I decided that I needed to step up and carry the team on my shoulders,” Durant said. If the Stealth want to get past the first round, then it is in good hands if they need someone to carry them over the line in fourth quarters. Durant went on to finish with 17 fourth quarter points, the bulk of them coming in the final 4 minutes of the game.

Also instrumental to the Stealth was their defensive pressure that forced Bosh and Calderon scoreless. The duo fed off each other for much of the game but just could not get it right when it mattered. Hicks finished with just 2 fourth quarter points as his hot hand was suddenly cold. The Toronto bench did its best but Durant amazingly put them at bay with his scoring prowess.

“We basically let one man bring them back into it and then watched their team make the big plays down the stretch,” rookie Hova, who made two big shots down the stretch, analyzed, “We knew coming into the game that playing Seattle in Seattle would be tough and they just showed off their class tonight.”

A 10-0 run capped by Durant’s steal and layup with 1:05 left in the game cut the Toronto lead to just 3 points; 94-97. Hova then made a layup in traffic on the other end with 58.5 seconds left putting the Raptors up 94-99. David Lee responded with a brilliant drive on the other end and finishing with a massive dunk with 53.3 seconds left. The Stealth forced another turnover off Calderon and Durant proceeded to score on a reverse layup to make the score 98-99 with 45.5 remaining.

Hova came up big once more as his three pointer from near the baseline got the lucky bounce off the back of the rim. With half a minute left, Toronto had its 4 point lead back at 98-102. “We thought we lost it then,” Lee admitted. However, Durant was sent to the line and sank both free throws before Lee came up with another big shot. Lee’s jumper from mid range tied the game at 102-102 with 12.8 seconds left in the game.

A miss from Calderon, after a Raptors timeout, was collected by Lee who immediately called a time out. Karl drew up a plan for Bell and the rest was history. Bell received the ball on the right hand side of the court on the wing. In one swift motion, he launched a triple, and the Seattle faithful went berserk as Seattle was up 105-102 with just 1.3 left on the clock.

The game wasn’t over though as Toronto took one more timeout. They went to Jason Kapono with the final shot but he was swatted by Durant who came flying out of nowhere as time expired.

“I sure hope they (fans) celebrate like this when we play in the postseason,” smiled Bell, “We’re looking to go far!”

Notes: Seattle set up a first round matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers instead of the Denver Nuggets… Kidd came off the bench to put in 5 points and 4 assists. The veteran is day to day and in a rush to get back to full fitness for the playoffs. Starting SG Tyson is looking doubtful to return as team doctors stated that his injury is worse than originally thought…
