Great recap and video. Love how there is a special Halloween scoreboard. Really hope this sticks around for a while.

Great win! And I'm gonna make a bold presiction - this will reach the playoffs and maybe beyond that! So don't let me down. :P

Yeah but I only shot 1-of-13 3-pointers. That's why a lot of points came from inside. This WILL reach the playoffs. Quote me.

Thanks man. Also liking the video. I'm open to any music recommendations.

Thanks man, I also like the Halloween scoreboard, is there any other? Like Thanksgiving, Christmas?

Uprise [3-1] :: Youth movement gives us win over Thunder

Thierry's Blog: Youth movement gives us win over Thunder
TrailBlazers.com | November 2nd, 2009

Welcome back Blazers fans, to my blog here in TrailBlazers.com. I'm on the locker room with the guys as the game against OKC ended a couple of minutes ago. While they are taking a shower, I'm here on my laptop listening to Daft Punk and reading different newspapers on my Firefox. I opened The Chicago Tribune sports section and this caught up my attention: “Hinrich is the Bull generating the most interest. Chicago and the Golden State Warriors have been exchanging proposals involving the guard for some time and the Portland Trail Blazers also are frequently linked with Kirk. The New Jersey Nets, meanwhile, is in the hunt as well, pursuing Hinrich -- with an offer of Bobby Simmons and Yi Jianlian for Hinrich and Jerome James. The Warriors have been offering Ronny Turiaf and Corey Maggette for Hinrich and Joakim Noah; the Bulls rejected it as soon as they read it.” Well, I don't know what will happen here, but I can say that we are not interested in Kirk for now. We have another trade targets, which I'm not able to speak about right now. As I listen to “Robot Rock”, here's the game against the Thunder:

LaMarcus smiled slyly when told that Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant said “he ain't got no game”. Grapevine (that's my nickname for him) laughed. “He sure talks a lot. Maybe he should worry about his team and his record,” LaMarcus told me. Shaking hands, I couldn't agree more with him. LaMarcus had 28 points, 5 rebounds and two key steals in the fourth quarter as we left the Thunder winless with a 97-94 victory at the Ford Center on Sunday night. Further rubbing it in, Durant missed a jumper with 8.3 second left that could have tied the game at 95 and send it to OT. He wasn't making any more inflammatory statements after the game. “I'll take that shot and live or die with it,” Kevin said. “It was a great shot but it didn't go in.” IMO, it sucked. Brandon was all over him and he couldn't shoot comfortably. The loss capped several tumultuous days for Oklahoma City, who have lost three straight. “I felt these guys deserved to walk out of the building with a win tonight,” coach Scott Brooks said. Yeah, right.

Steve made a driving layup with 30.5 seconds left to give us Blazers a 93-92 lead. James Harden answered with a turnaround jumper to give it back to the Thunder. Trout made two free throws with 14.3 seconds left, as we again took the lead. Durant's jumper rimmed out and Brandon hit two free throws with 5.3 seconds left for what would prove to be the winning margin. Harden, who missed a 3-point attempt at the buzzer, and Durant had 24 points apiece. The rookie from Arizona State shot 10-of-14; his shot selection was incredible. Brandon had 26 points, seven rebounds and a season-high seven steals. What's impressive to me now is in close games, we're making plays. Down the stretch and in the last two minutes, we went to LaMarcus a lot and spread the floor, so see if he could make something happen. We would normally go to Brandon, but they were closing up on him, so we figured Grapevine could get into the paint and make some plays. Lamar, who finished with 12 points, said he was bothered by his dislocated finger the whole game, but insisted on playing and added eight rebounds.

The Thunder opened the season with a L vs. Sacramento, 97-90. Durant had 22 and Harden and Russell Westbrook had 13 apiece; Kevin Martin had 25 for the Kings. Two days later they flew to Detroit and lost 94-80, with Westbrook posting 19 and 8 rebounds, but Charlie Villanueva was unstoppable, with 35 and 10. “Honestly, I feel terrible. You've got to feel responsible when you lose three in a row,” Westbrook said. He had 7 points today, to go with seven assists and five steals. “I looked at myself in the mirror and asked myself questions. Now I've got to answer those questions and apply them to this new situation.” Brandon said to ESPN: “It was a game that needed a lot of heart. We had that heart down the stretch.” With a 3-1 edge in 2008-09, we won the series over the Thunder franchise for the first time since 2002-03 and we outscored Oklahoma City by 26.3 points per win. We have also won three straight series meetings and five in a row at home. Brandon led the squad with 22.3 points in four contests against the Thunder last season, Trout netted 17.8 and LaMarcus added 17.3 points and 10.5 rebounds, as he counted a season-high 35 points, one short of a career best, and a career-high 18 rebounds on April 3, 2009, in OKC.

Next game: this Tuesday we host the Atlanta Hawks (1-2) at the Rose Garden. ESPN will broadcast, so don't miss!

Oh. You did good because you won, and the more games you win, the higher your standing is the higher your seed is the higher the chance to win a championship

Blakey is distributing the ball well. Although i'd like to see another PG on your team (N.Robinson is a double double machine), your doing well. Looks like a pretty sim score from the blazers... Roy and Aldridge are getting it done and the other starters are chipping in with reb's and assists. Good Job... TAKE MY BLAZERS TO THE TITLE!!! :applaud:

Yeah, but I'd say it's only temporary, it's crunch time in schools all over the world, whether it be mid-year or end of year exams.

The story so far has been great, if only real coaches blogged and tried to stay as close to the fans as Tirieux did. As Drausus said, it's good to see that Roy and Aldridge put up great stats when you simulate, you have a lot of players that you can really just trust with the ball in their hands.

Following. :)

Good win against the Thunder. Why is everybody making KD a douche? ^^ The Thunder are usually quite good in 2k10 so it's surprising see them loosing three in a row. Aldridge was on fire.

Roy-Aldridge combo working nice. 54 points, 23-36 FG :)

Roy's 7 steals are also impressive.

Yep, I was thinking in trading Blake but in this 4 games he has been solid. I have Bayless, he did great in the game I played: 6 points, 3 rebs and 6 assists in like 15 minutes. Roy and Aldridge are on fire. :)

Yes, you're right. Huge exams coming for me soon too. I will post the game against the Hawks today or tomorrow and after that it will be on hiatus for a couple of weeks, at least until Christmas. IT'S NOT OVER, I WON'T END THIS ONE. I just need to approve this exams or I won't get my Xbox 360 :P

Thanks, Sit showed me KD's true personality. I don't like him anymore  It surprised me as well, but they were 3 losses by 10 points, not blowouts...

They're playing awesome, as I said to The X, this is Aldridge's contract year and he will have to impress me to stay.

I don't think you should. He is a pretty decent player that won't take away touches from Roy and LMA. (Y)

lmao A hiatus. Not gonna give you the benefit of the doubt. X actually has a decent idea: Thierry being a contributer to other people's dynasties. Maybe it could be like rap music, where rappers appear on each other's albums, except with dynasties. :P

If you want me to be a Woody Hannes-type guy for your story (make an article), talk to me at MSN... now, if you want to make like a co-association, let me finish a couple of seasons with this one  That will be a Wilt dynasty, no doubt. I could be the graphics guy and you the article, standings, stats guy. :D
