some guy from europe i think.
anyway i was just looking at a poster i got and hes about to get slammed on by Charles Barkley(slamups :) and that was in '96.
now i got cards of this guy being said as a rising rookie and al sorts of praise and shit.
what the heck happened to him, he dissapeared.

He was a very good player, averaging about 20 points per game with the Celtics, but this time the Celtics were a loser team, so he prefered returning in Europe instead of playing in a bad NBA team.

Same as Danilovic when he was traded to Dallas

He was almost a 20/10 player in his best season in the NBA and averaged 16/9 in his career.
Now, I know that he's retired as a player but I read that he's the president of a croatian basketball club.

he played for Zadar (croatian club) last season i think... I don't know if he's still active, he probably has a managment function there now... or in Cibona Zagreb.

He was part of the yugoslavian (now former) "dream team" that won the world championship gold (beat the likes of payton, d-rob etc...)... petrovic, divac, kukoc, radja, paspalj, danilovic, djordjevic... greatest european basketball team, ever.

Radja was injured when the Celts traded him to Philly, and I can't remember if he passed the physical, but something fell through and he left. Quite solid in his NBA career though (y)

He was supposed to go to Philly in exchange for Clarence Weatherspoon back in the 1997 offseason (a couple of other players were involved in the deal, but I can't remember who they were). Radja failed the physical so the trade didn't go through. Rick Pitino then cut Radja shortly after he came on board.

I don't think the cards would be worth too much...then again I've been out of the card collecting scene for some time. I didn't think they had much value these days?

Still, hasn't the value of trading cards decreased in recent times? I've got a Michael Jordan Total D card from 1995 or 1996 that was once worth about $100, but last I checked it was only worth about $20. :?

That's what I thought. I never collected them for the value though; it was just one of those hobbies that persisted through the 90s, but is no longer appealing to a "casual" collector.
