Hopefully they got a big man in return if all these players are traded.

just talked to Benji about this...
Van Horn's and Thomas' contracts match Rasheed Wallace's.
Blazers just waived Kaniel Dickens and Matt Carroll (link), making room for 2 extra players.

something's stirring up.

Excellent investigative journalism there guys. If Isiah gets Rasheed too my head might explode. It's like he's playing Franchise mode...

Tell you what, that would be one crazy lineup, playoff-bound, (Y)

hehe on paper it looks like playoffs, but in reality it's pretty risky.
The Knicks bench is starting to look more like the Laker's bench or worst...very thin...1 injuried starter will have a big impact on how the team plays with that missing player. Look at the Lakers, struggled with Malone out; now can't even win a game with Shaq out too even though Kobe said he feels 100%

I just hope the Knicks can get the chemistry right with Marbury here.

But... if this trade goes down as you guys say so, the Knicks' bench will be Doleac, Harrington, Shandon Anderson, Penny and Moochie... That's enough in the East IMO...

Agreed. However, it puts a lot of faith in Doleac if Mutombo goes down. That's what could kill it for the Knicks. I wouldnt mind seeing a 3rd centre sign with the Knicks til the end of the year. Very good 1-2 punch at SG with Houston and Penny though.

Yep. What concerns me the most is Marbury, though... Does he contain some kinda ticking bomb, waiting to explode? There are reports (I read somewhere, Slam Magazine online I think) he was cultivating a feud with Amare (Nick's favorite)... He kinda weared out his welcome in all places he went... I dunno what this will effect the Knicks... Plus if you add Rasheed there... Wow, no comments. Rasheed may smoke so much joints in NY that the sky will be tied up and all planes won't land and all games will be postponed...

The Knicks and Cavs continue to discuss a deal for Darius Miles that could include Michael Doleac and Frank Williams heading to Cleveland.

Silly Cavs... If they fall to this, I dunno what to think... Miles is worth more, IMO.
