Xbox 360 version and the PAL region

Sat Oct 03, 2009 5:59 am

It's highly likely that the Xbox 360 version will be region locked and we won't be able to import it (though that obviously won't be a problem for PS3 users). However, I've made some inquiries about it just to be sure and as soon as I hear anything back, I'll be sure to post it.

EA region locks all their games from what I've read.

Yeah, I'm not expecting good news in that regard.

Yep, I hope for your sake it's not, but unless you have considerable sway among EA Sports, I can't see it ever happening, at least in this generation of consoles.

Me neither, but it's one of those things where it doesn't hurt to ask. At the end of the day, the game technically isn't supposed to be sold outside the United States and Canada and locking the region code obviously helps enforce that...at least with the Xbox 360.

The only way for you to play NCAA would be to buy an American/Canadian Xbox360 (or any PS3, not sure) and import it to Australia.

Yes, any PS3 will do. I just import any games that I want which are not released outside of the States.
