I'm not sure what Southern Cross is, is it like Austar? Or a more regional version?

Foxtel Digital has One SD, and it has had it for a few months now, it's Channel 531. You probably already knew this. :P

As Dan's Brain said, it's a regional affiliate for Ten. I've got Foxtel Digital obviously, but I don't actually get One SD through Foxtel (and believe me I've doublechecked ;)), so I'd say that's another regional issue.

Awesome that there's a Nuggets game on so soon, but its the day before my year 12 English exam :|

If you get Foxtel IQ2 HD then you should definitely get One HD (Y)

Year 12 English exam is a piece of piss. You can knock it over in an hour and a half and spend the rest of time reminiscing about Deron Williams torching the Nugs. :)

That's the thing, I don't have IQ2 and can't justify the expense of the upgrade or the added charge to the monthly bill.

^Your on digital right? Yeah it's obviously a bit of an upgrade from that, but for regular IQ users, its actually cheaper per month if you dont get any extra HD packages...
And in terms of justifying it, IQ is the only reason we have Foxtel. Being able to pause, rewind, fast forward and record 2 shows at once is a god send. If we couldnt record i wouldnt be able to watch a single game on Foxtel, no exaggeration...

Also i was thinking about buying NBA League Pass. I'll be finished school and ill have plenty of time on my hands, uni wont be starting till March. Plus we've now got this 60GB limit, and ive got the internet in my room. (Both of these things have happened since i last posted back in June)

I'm thinking about it too. I got onto iPrimus' 200gb ADSL2+ plan so it would definitely be worth the money I think. Though just now I tried to load up the international league pass page on NBA.com and it's down, which is not encouraging.

I already downloaded the audio from it, but I'll buy it to get the live show as well. They were planning on coming out here not long ago. They were supporting Bullet For My Valentine and were coming over after they toured Japan but it didn't happen for some reason.

Yeah I'm just on digital, I don't have the original IQ.

Oh I'm certainly aware of the benefits and I'd get it if I could justify the added cost but at the moment I can't.

Exactly. ;) If money wasn't an issue, I'd be getting a better TV too. Then if nothing else, I could watch One HD.

Tell me about it. :(

Checked the online guide for ESPN Australia, listings have been updated through November:

October

29th: Jazz @ Nuggets
31st: Bulls @ Celtics

November

5th: Rockets @ Lakers
7th: Spurs @ Blazers
12th: Cavs @ Magic
14th: Lakers @ Nuggets
19th: Spurs @ Mavericks
21st: Magic @ Celtics
26th: Heat @ Magic
28th: Suns @ Timberwolves

That doesn't look to bad to me. October has been up for a while and I'm glad of the token Bulls game, plus rematches of both Conference Finals and couple of Conference Semis rematches, two of the top teams in the Spurs and Blazers and a rare appearance by the Timberwolves. I hope One SD comes to Southern Cross areas before the season is out for a bit more variety but the first month and a bit on ESPN Australia is OK.

Ah, but the Spurs, Mavericks and Suns are covered in the first month. That's not too bad though, Spurs @ Blazers and Spurs @ Mavericks should hopefully be good games and Suns @ Timberwolves is something a little different to the norm.

Looks like the WCF run will see ESPN picking up a few more Nuggets games this year. From memory there was only the one last year.

Excluding the Playoffs, I'm fairly certain there was just the one on ESPN. Probably a few on One.

I've been looking into it a little more and I'm guessing you're on cable, right? One SD is available on cable as channel 531 but it's not available to satellite subscribers as yet, which is why I'm missing out. Satellite customers don't get any other FTA channels through Foxtel either, except ABC1 & 2 and SBS 1 & 2.
