Both Dirk Nowitzki and Adrian Griffin were injured in todays win against the Clips. Dirk suffered a high ankle sprain with 3 minutes left in the first. He looked like he was in a lot of pain, rolling around on the court after Popeye Jones rolled into his lower leg. Adrian Griffin suffered a partially separted right shoulder with 5.30 left in the third. Neither of the players returned and are listed as being day to day.

Didn't seem to matter much against the Clips as they blew them out 122-95, though it's still not great news for the Mavs. Could be worse though - at least the words "Out for season" aren't spreading across the entire NBA.

No doubt this will hurt the Mavs' lineup...Can they keep their number 1 spot?

Without Dirk I wouldn't count on it, but if he is only out for a couple of games Finley and Nash can hold ship.
