Yet another deal, and a demand for one more

Robert Archibald is on the move...again...

Raptors Acquire Archibald

Meanwhile, Lamond Murray wants out of Toronto.

Murray unhappy with diminished playing time

As I said before, I can't remember the last time I saw so much player movement throughout the season, outside of a few scrubs getting cut and signing elsewhere and players on 10 day contracts. The 1996/97 season comes to mind.

i don't get this...i know Murray wants out of Toronto but i think O'neill should give him more chances...i haven't seen him play since Marshall and Rose arrive to north of the boarders...he can still produce no doubt...i'm just wondering if O'neill would split time between Murray and Mo Pete...after all i think Murray deserves a chance to prove himself since he's getting healthier

This article mentions the Archibald deal and Murray's trade demand. It also reveals that Grunwald is open to trading Murray, but maintains "we're just not going to give him away".

i don't know what happens this year, i mean, why are there so much trades during the season ? Is the luxury tax responsible or are the GMs going crazy in front of more and more pressure ?

Murray was supposed to come in and be the second option last season but we all know what happened then, eh?

Raptors need scoring options right now and Murray isn't one of em and doesn't look like he will be.. Marshall and Rose are doing far better than Murray was and Murray was gettin' some good burn before the trade too.. i guess he still hasn't found his shot since he was out all last year. if anything, i hope the Raps package him with someone like Mo'Pete and get an actual and a good center so Bosh can move back to the four and marshall can play the 3 spot as they should
