NLSC Current Roster Update v3.0 Released

yeah there's a shoe problem and also a toronto raptors logo problem. For some reason when it does the tnt or ea transition, it comes up as the toronto raptors logo for me. Anyone else have that problem?

Hello Sir, I just want to let you know that I was frustrated why "OG" never mentioned to credit me for my DeAndre Jordan cyberface. actually that was a joint patch where I made the cyberface, SAMutei made the headshape and he (OG) made the tattoos and arm patch.. I haven't got the chance at that time to visit the site and continue patching because i was busy at school.. and when I visited the site once again and decided to try and patch again, I was surprised on how the DeAndre patch got into your roster while I never got credited.. to tell you truthfully, that was the reason why I never patched again.. I'm okay now.. but I think I still deserve to be credited , to think I worked hard for my first patch.. and sadly I never got the chance to make a second one... hope you consider this one.. I always have been following your roster, It is the best roster ever in my opinion..

i solved the shoes problem by installing the Real Shoes Patch 09 1.0 by CHNxiaoju and then the shoes patches from tup 4.1(Bryan's patch)...now lebron and the other players have realistic shoes...

There shouldn't be any problems with the shoes if you're just installing the NLSC update. I can't guarantee compatibility with all other updates that may be pre-installed. However, if installing Real Shoes or reinstalling shoe updates from TUP fixes the problem, I'd definitely recommend doing that.

during the game, point guard wont sub and only power forward and center sub in the game...

hmm owen that is normal cause sub is start with c,pf then next is sf,sg then pg but it depends when timeout is called like that and hmmm if you really want that pg's will be sub play 8-12 minutes it will surely subs those pg's ehehe

About the substitutions: NBA Live 08's fatigue and substitution logic is pretty messed up. The Fatigue ratings have been adjusted to account for this but it doesn't fix the problem completely, especially on shorter quarter lengths.

sir andrew fatigue does not effect substitution cause i try auto subs and 100% substitution even i do my pointguard fatigue to really all black no green bar left it doesn't sub because the true logic of substitution is not about fatigues it's about foul calls and timeout...even in real game no one can subs unless it is a deadball..the real sucks that ea ever did in substitution is they put a repeating subs code that the first to be subs will be c and pf then followed by sf and sg and last is the pg...but it still varies due to timeouts like that...they should put a random substitution code so that it's not a pattern but still ea didn't tell a way to fix substitution..

True, those are certainly important factors in the substitution problems. Fatigue is still an issue in its own right however.

Hey Andrew, when do you usually update the players' stats? I mean, Shannon Brown still can't dunk, Gortat is not rebounding as much as he should, most of those cases are for weaker players, but would make the rosters better if corrected.

This update was mainly just to get all the new rookies in the game and the transactions up to date. I've actually already started updating some player ratings for the next release, Shannon Brown and Marcin Gortat are a couple of players that I've updated so far.

sir andew, i have a question,, is this realease have player portraits?? because when the time i installed the install.exe, some of my player portraits has been gone. so what will i do??

Not for every player at this time, but it does have portrait updates. It certainly doesn't delete any portraits.

No problem. I should mention that if you are worried at all about losing any art from TUP, you should back up your sgsm folder and restore it following the installation of the NLSC rosters, or if you've got the TUP files handy you can reinstall the art following the installation of the NLSC roster. I have been meaning to do roster-only releases for 2005, 07 and 08 (we already do it for 06 as part of the NBA Live PC Project), that might help a few people out. You'll probably still have to reinstall shoe updates though.

Using DB Commander, open players.dbf, locate Arroyo (searching in the surname field is the easiest way) and change his TEAM value from 32 to 50. I'll bring him back into the active rosters for the next update as well.

it crashed while I tried to substitute in jermaine taylor from the rockets, did anyone else have that problem?

I'll give it a try but I can't think of any reason why that would happen with the files included in the patch.
