Calling Out All NBA Live 2003/2004 Old Timers

It's been a long, long time since I've posted or done anything meaningful here, but I was browsing the forums while at work for the first time in a while, saw some familiar names, wondered who from the Live 2003/2004 glory days was still around, and what they'd been up to for the past 5 years.

I still talk to benji on aim, did talk to Kevc for a while (I think the last thing I sent him was about how Gerald Green was going to dominate for his Rockets), but other than that haven't really kept in touch with anyone.

So what are David, cklitsie, Idiot, KD, dahl, Tony, Nick, ][]]ragon, ultranix (heh I remember reading about some controversy with him...), Jackal (who going through my post history, I apparently stopped posting here because of) and anyone I've missed from the Live modding glory days all up to?

Honest though, that's probably the funniest conversation I've ever had with a NBA Live person. I'm typing this and pretty much dying of laughter.

2009 has definitely been the Year of the Comeback around these parts.

Nice to see you again, Repole. A lot of the guys you've mentioned drop by once in a while but seem to have moved on to other things (and I guess more important things in life) while the crazier of us remain. Dragon (and as you can see, Jackal) are still very much active though.

I load NLSC every few weeks. That's about how long it takes for something interesting to happen that i can react to. :p

2003/04 was a pretty long time ago now though. Since then: i've completed puberty, completed high school, begun university study, got a girlfriend, left NLSC, started a band, failed university study, become unemployed for months, re-joined NLSC. (And if i was to do it again i would probably do it the exact same way.)

It's always nice to see familiar... avatars and text styles. As then you can remember whether or not you're dealing with someone with a decent head on their shoulders or not. But i'm sure there are some good members with half a brain lurking around that have yet to post. Show yourselves!

Well let's put it this way, when I signed up for these forums, I couldn't drive, watch pr0n (legally), drink alcohol (again, legally), and my proverbial cherry was very much intact. All that's changed now

The fact that at least three of those changed for me before the red forums ended is worse. (Hell, two of those were before the black and blue forum ended.)

Even worse, I can't remember WHEN the red forums ended, clearly proving how old I am. (Then there's Sauru, who's at least 65 I think.)

You're just rubbing it in that we can't gin up a gathering of the black/blue forumers. Outside of like six, one of whom got banned in the last few weeks.

Ben, Andrew, Nick, Shadowgrin, Blacksmurf, Jeffx, myself... Yohance and Hefty don't post enough to count, Blacksmurf gets banned every 15 seconds so he might not count. Nick came right towards the end, after I'd left actually. We are a dying and lame breed.

When did the blue forums end? and when did even the red ones end? don't even remember what NLSC looked like before this, all I have is a image of dotorg in my head
