42 points.. in a few seasons he could be the top point guard of the east if Jason Kidd declines and with B.diddy moving west with the hornets.

He has played pretty poorly as of late, but the last two games have gained his some respect back! 30 & 42 points. With todays effort he had 4 boards, 6 assists, I think 4 steals and 2 blocks - and shot at a terrific clip. Great game by JC, I hope he can keep it up. Not every game is going to be like that but hopefully he continues to shoot well.
Also I think he'll be at shooting guard for a while to come with Kirk at the point. He only shot 2-10 today but had 11 assists

GO BULLS

2 WINS IN A ROW... hehehehe!

Yeah he is playing the 2 spot at the moment, but with the amount of player movement chicago goes through maybe in 2 seasons he will be back at the point? Who knows?

I'm quite impressed with the Bulls' backcourt at the moment. I'm hoping Pax will think long and hard before moving either Crawford or Hinrich. I'm also hoping they'll continue to play well and that Skiles won't shake things up unnecessarily.
I'm tempted to compare Crawford and Hinrich to the backcourt of MJ and Paxson, though they aren't nearly as good.

What about BJ and Paxson?
Sun Dec 28, 2003 3:44 pm
BJ replaced Pax in the starting lineup, though they did play alongside each other for certain stretches.
Sun Dec 28, 2003 3:55 pm
Well mj was in those lineups so bj and pax really couldnt start together. Maybe this could be Ron Harper and Steve Kerr revisted?

I'll stick with MJ/Pax, with a not-quite-as-good player in MJ's role.

i think this backcourt is similar to bibby/jackson. rather then worry about what mismatches the kings will face with that backcourt, they let the opposition try and deal with the problems their guards will give them.
hinrich will be a bull for life unless Pax includes him in a trade that will land him a legit superstar. hinrich has the attributes of a PG i think the bulls have been looking for- good defender, gritty, and pass first PG. crawford on the other hand- i think pax is listening to offers on him. JC's contract is up this year and Pax has stated in the preseason he wants crawford to show he can be a 17/6/3 player for an entire season before he gets that big contract extension.
i also really hope they keep this backcourt together. it has been the team's strength/carrying the team during all the injuries. they'll be even more effective when the twin towers come back. soon there will be hinrich and crawford nite's at the UC- where the first few thousand fans will be getting free JC headbands and hinrich prostetic ears to wear.

LOL. Kirk Hinrich looks like a character from Star Wars. And the Bulls definately have a candidate for ugliest player in the league with the arrival of Jerome Williams
I too would like to see the Crawf/Hinrich backcourt last into the future, but it'll only happen if Crawford becomes a solid defender I think.

JYD and Pip what a gorgeous
combination. Bring in Sam Cassell and we have a Supermodel lineup.

The Bulls couldn't make it three straight, losing to Miami 90-83. Crawford only scored 8, but didn't shoot well (3/16), while finding his teammates for 12 assists. Nice performances from the entire starting lineup, as well as Curry off the bench.

JYD may be ugly but he can play SG, SF, PF on Defense

hinrich was in foul trouble for most of the game, so crawford took it upon himself to get his teammates involved, which prevented him to get in a shooting rhythm. he didn't get a bucket until the 2nd qtr... also eddie jones did a great job defending him. if curry was in shape, bulls don't choke this one away.
the more i see antonio davis's pitiful play in the post, the more i understand why raptor fans were happy to see him go. this guy is softer then lafrentz on the blocks on offense. it's useless to give the ball up to him when he's by the basket. ugh...
crap, i think odom just scored another basket in the post
