We implemented an English-only rule to stop the Pinoys discussing illegal versions of NBA Live a few years ago, I guess that has to apply to you guys too. Neuken.

Jae likes that thread and will remember it forever.

A little segway, the PBA Finals has been doing wrestling-like promos. But what I've noticed over the past decade is that the leagues is somehow "fixing" the games with Ginebra to keep its ticket sales high.

At least you guys have a league, in Thailand we doesn't have shit. OK, they've been talking about an official league for quite a few years now but I dont see that happening as far as the board remains the same. I bet the minister of Thai basketball association doesn't even know how to play ball. You dont have to know how to play the game to be a good minister, but this guy doesn't know how to do both. It's that bad.

I'm a Ginebra Fan but I find it hard to say that I disagree with that.

I think he's trying to say that when Ginebra is in the finals, the other team is "payed" so Ginebra will be the champion. That's just for me. :D

BTW, Game 5 is underway.

It does seem an odd choice for the promo.

Anybody got ANDREW GAZE games on dvd/video? I'd buy if you want to sell. That dude was like a greater version of Chris Mullin with a touch of Larry Bird thrown in (Y)

 You cut what jenz said.

We have a Pinoy forum member who hit us fellow Pinoys so many times everytime we post something against the people he idolize/paganize. Problem is he's only up against Pinoys, and there was a time he called us "poser Pinoys" and "unpatriotic" just because we want to see Manny Pacquiao lose.

Not being a PBA fan, I got curious about the WWE promo talk. I ended up with this. While not really what they Lean and the rest were referring to. This was quite funny.

Randy Savage-style promo:

PS I read on the papers a while back that this guy went to Killer Kowalski's school

Really? I read somewhere that he tried to push a career in wrestling.

PBA Finals over, damn the officiating is really leaning towards Ginebra. That's why I hate watching that team play. It's like they're changing the rules of basketball. A simple bump results to a foul. A defender's sweat touches them, it's a foul. There's a game in the Finals that SMB got 28 fouls. :|

But it's great that SMB won, it's their 18th.

yep, very well-deserved title. though the chant for ginebra was still louder during the awarding. David Noel didn't know what he's been doing the entire game. oh well, there's still the next conference.

I'm never a fan of the PBA having imports. It only devalues local talents.
