NBA Live second to NBA 2K?

Hi guys, I'm currently doing some research for a school project on sports gaming and I would like to know whether you feel NBA 2K9 is a better game than NBA Live 09?

What do you guys look for in a game? The gameplay, the price, the promotion?

If you can change the game's marketing what would you change?

2k9 is Definitely better , but we here have better Patchers . . .

Marketing ?
Have the next Live in PC
Make 2k more easier to patch

What do we look for in a game ?
Better Artificial Intelligence and realism

Price ?
I won't buy 2k even if it's $ 10 cheaper than Live . . .

It comes down to the gameplay more than anything else when I look at which game to buy and I bought NBA Live 09 over 2k9. I don't like the feel of 2k9. The way the game is mrketed means nothing to me.
