Last night's game proved that if the Lakers actually try, Staples Center is where 40 point wins happen.

I'm wondering why Sasha Vujacic is wearing Zoom Kobe IV again instead of his Peak signature shoes. Go Lakers.

There are so many things that bother me about this post, where to begin? You make life difficult.

First I guess we could start with not raping the English language I guess? Kobe might bitched you after the game? Really? No, really? He might bitched him?

After all these years I'm running out of ways to express how bad I feel when I see English being violently raped like this.

Another thing..."luckily check this out"? What? I'm really glad you get off on watching yourself control Battier and block Bryant. But that you pretend it's sane and the most common thing in the world worries me.

LA should close the game in game six, so much for Ron Artest mouthing off at anyone and everyone that would listen that they would win game 05.

look, first off, i confess, my english is not so good.and i'm improving since my first day here.. and, no disrespect bro..i don't think that i "raped" language ?
what exactly do you mean by the word "rape" ?

NBA, where amazing happens.. i really hope there would be game7 on this series...even without Yao and Mac
and yes, Artest was completely "shut down" by the Lakers on game5..hope he'll bounce back(is this the right word   )

No matter what happens from here on out, the Rockets can be proud of what they've done in this series. The odds were stacked against them coming into the series and Yao's injury seemed like it would herald a quicker and less competitive end to the series, yet here they are forcing a seventh game. I still like the Lakers' chances of prevailing a lot more but until that final buzzer - barring an early blowout - they've got at least a shred of hope.

This could be great for the Lakers as well. If they do advance (as it seems they likely will), the series will have tested their mettle and serve as a reminder that they need to earn success this year, even against the unlikeliest challengers.

You bet that they will do their very best to stop Kobe in Game 7!

One thing though, you cant simply stop Kobe. It's sort of impossible. The most you can do is stick a hand in his face, harass him all over the place, get him frustated and hope that he start missing some shots. At the end of the day he'll still end up with 30 points or so, but will have taken around 30 shots to reach that figure.

Oh yea, Kobe still finds a way to score even if his defender is good. We'll just know if he'll struggle in Game 7. Hope he will. :

What the F*ck is Happening to the Lakers ?
With this Houston win , the Lakers made a statement that they won't win this Year's Championship .
Maybe Denver vs . Cleveland ?

It's only 2nd round. Boston struggled in first two rounds last year as well. If Lakers will get out of 2nd round (which is more possible), they still have to bring their A game against Denver and hope it'll be enough. This isn't the same Denver team they won in previous playoffs.

The Rockets better have a good first quarter. The teams that won the first quarter ended up winning the game in this series. Even though that won't guarantee nothing, it will certainly give them a morale boost.

Remind me creating The Rockets VS Nuggers WCF thread after tonight, or maybe you can beat me to it.

Yes , definitely . . . If you have Shaq and Kobe together along with that talent ( Lakers 00-03 ).
Phil Jackson is not a good coach , he even lost to Larry Brown and the Pistons in 04 . One of the Great Upsets of all Time .
Larry Brown's the best ( Period . ) .and Adelman is better than Phil .
